Episode 34 recap: Huang Yi Mei led Fu Jia Ming to fulfill his wish.
Huang Zhen Hua, looking at the photos of Bai Xiao He's child, always felt a resemblance to himself, and a memory from the past surfaced in his mind. Huang Zhen Hua had steamed fish for Bai Xiao He, and then they drank together heartily. During her alcohol-fueled state, Bai Xiao He confided that she did not want to get married, but only wanted to have a son. Huang Zhen Hua drank heavily, and when he woke up, it was already dawn. Huang Zhen Hua did not remember what he had done during his drunken state, but he was very concerned.
Fang Xie Wen was simply playing house with Xiao Chu. She made breakfast for Fu Jia Ming and addressed him as a friend, but she was very disappointed and wanted Xiao Chu to return to Shanghai. Xiao Chu really wanted to go back to Beijing, but Fang Xie Wen intentionally cried in front of her, using parental affection as a form of kidnapping, and Xiao Chu, unable to refuse, agreed to stay.

The next day, Fang Xie Wen saw Huang Yi Mei off at the airport and introduced her to a heart specialist in Beijing, for which Huang Yi Mei expressed her gratitude. Su Geng Sheng showed Huang Zhen Hua the medical examination report and suggested he go for a check-up as well, but Huang Zhen Hua believed he was already in excellent health and fully prepared.
After returning to Beijing, Huang Yi Mei immediately went to see Fu Jia Ming, who was working on a musical score and wanted to take her to see the heart specialist. Fu Jia Ming was well aware of his own health condition but did not want to disappoint Huang Yi Mei. Huang Zhen Hua was anxious about the situation with Bai Xiao He's son Yue Yue, and was distracted even at work, so Zhou Shihui suggested he get a paternity test.
