Episode 30 recap: Fu Jia Ming successfully reconciled with Xiao Chu.
At the grand opening ceremony, Tina introduced to the audience the origin of the name of the art gallery, Mian Mian. Years ago, Tina and Mr. Gu saw an ivy-covered wall at a Paris art gallery, and they were both captivated by it, just as people can become entangled with each other like the ivy. The art gallery is not merely an exhibition space, but also a conduit for artistic connection, where everyone can have interesting souls. Fu Jia Ming brought his girlfriend Mimi to the exhibition, and Mimi was also curious about the legendary beauty, but was disappointed to learn that she had not come.
Meanwhile, Fu Jia Ming also found the exhibition boring without Huang Yi Mei. He noticed a keyboard beneath a painting of a maze and played it, only to have a door suddenly open, revealing a key. Fu Jia Ming compared the label on the painting and the pattern on the key, and eventually unlocked the attic, where he discovered an unfinished painting that matched the view from the attic skylight - and the signature on the painting was Huang Yi Mei's.
Zhuang Guo Dong was packing up to return to Paris when he received a call from Huang Yi Mei. Huang Yi Mei thanked him for the flower basket, and Zhuang Guo Dong apologized, admitting that their relationship was his own doing. Huang Yi Mei had already let it go, and they would continue to work together in the future.
Zhuang's father lamented that Zhuang Guo Dong and Huang Yi Mei's relationship was doomed from the start, but he didn't want Zhuang Guo Dong to give up on life. He said that while women get over heartbreak quickly, men's heartbreak is like seasonal allergies - it comes back every time.
Huang Yi Mei received a call from Fu Jia Ming and rushed to the art gallery. She found that a seashell had been placed on the painting, and when she removed it, the sound system was activated, making the painting seem more lifelike. Fu Jia Ming hurried to a bar performance, and received a call from Fu Jia Ming informing him that Huang Yi Mei wanted to see him.
It wasn't long before Huang Yi Mei showed up at the bar. Fu Jia Ming was performing on stage, and the audience cheered him on. After the crowd dispersed, Fu Jia Ming invited Huang Yi Mei up on stage. She was surprised he recognized her, but Fu Jia Ming thought she had the air of an artist.
The two discussed the painting together. Huang Yi Mei believed the same painting, when paired with music, could be either an art film or a commercial one. When Fu Jia Ming heard her stomach growling from hunger, he invited her to have noodles with him. As Huang Yi Mei ate, she looked around the restaurant.
When she saw Fu Jia Ming take Viagra, she misunderstood and angrily accused him of being sick before leaving. Huang Zhen Hua was in a meeting when he received a call from Su Geng Sheng's mother. He immediately went home to see her. Su's mother mentioned that they had gotten married but she hadn't met her son-in-law yet, so Huang Zhen Hua invited her out to dinner.
As soon as Su's mother arrived, she demanded a 200,000 yuan dowry. Huang Zhen Hua couldn't refuse, so he just smiled apologetically. Fu Jia Ming called to explain the incident, but Huang Yi Mei was convinced he was a bad person. She refused to listen and hung up angrily.
Huang Yi Mei went to the kindergarten to pick up Xiao Chu. Fu Jia Ming explained to her again that Viagra can treat heart disease, but when Huang Yi Mei saw him energetic and lively, she didn't believe he had a heart condition. Huang Yi Mei received a call from the kindergarten teacher, who said Xiao Chu was sad because her pet rabbit had died. When Huang Yi Mei went into the kindergarten, Fu Jia Ming followed her in.
Huang Yi Mei comforted Xiao Chu, but the child was still deeply saddened. Fu Jia Ming then brought a cake for Xiao Chu to eat in order to say goodbye to the rabbit.
