Episode 11 recap: Huang Yimei visited Zhuang Guodong.
After calming down, Zhuang Guodong sent a message to Huang Yimei. The two were in a long-distance relationship and did not want to let the problem linger overnight, as it might affect their relationship. So they had another video chat. Huang Yimei also settled down, and the two communicated well. Zhuang Guodong wished so much that he could wake up and see Huang Yimei by his side.
Huang Zhenghua and Su Gengsheng made an appointment to go jogging on campus. Bai Xiao He's father came to visit, as Bai Xiao He had run away from home after their previous trip. As concerned parents, they hoped Zhuang Guodong could go see Bai Xiao He, and Zhuang Guodong immediately agreed, although Bai Xiao He had not met Huang Zhenghua first.

Bai Xiao He was open and honest with him, revealing that she had gone to her ex-boyfriend's hometown alone to finally bid farewell to the past. However, she had been unable to reach her ex-boyfriend, and only received his message after leaving, informing her that he was now in a serious relationship with the person his parents had introduced him to, and hoping Bai Xiao He would forget him.
After returning to Beijing, Bai Xiao He was so heartbroken that she vomited for an entire day. She had now completely let go of that relationship and just wanted to focus on her studies, hoping to go abroad for research in the future. Huang Zhenghua felt sorry for the girl in front of him and advised her not to just stay in the lab, but to go out more, like how he had started exercising with a coach, and now felt refreshed.
The two reunited after a long separation and embraced tenderly. In the middle of the night, Huang Yimei woke up to see Zhuang Guodong working on a contract. It turned out Zhuang Guodong wanted to be promoted to marketing manager and hoped to bring Huang Yimei to live with him in Paris. But Huang Yimei was furious, as she could not let go of her current job and was attached to her parents. She was unhappy that Zhuang Guodong had made another unilateral decision.
Zhuang Guodong made breakfast for Huang Yimei and took her to the Louvre in France, but due to work, they rushed through each stop, and he kept messaging on his phone, which annoyed Huang Yimei, though she still understood him. When Zhuang Guodong stayed late at the office, Huang Yimei accompanied him, but felt out of place watching them hustle.
A video played on the big screen, and Huang Yimei realized that they were actually heading in opposite directions. What she had thought was a coming together was actually just a passing encounter, and they were gradually drifting apart.
