Episode 30 recap: Yan Nanxing cured Bai Yuan.
Yan Nanxing's mother discovered that Yan Nanxing had not returned, so she brought Tong Saier and Liu Ruoqian to this place to investigate. Tong Saier smelled the scent of Gui grass, and the group came to the basement. Yan Nanxing struggled out and tied up Yan Wuhuang. Tong Saier and Liu Ruoqian were surprised to discover that the short, chubby person was actually Yan Nanxing.
Tong Saier thought the medicine was to control the mind, so she gave it to Yan Wuhuang to drink, hoping to interrogate her. But the medicine's effects were very strong, and Yan Wuhuang unexpectedly died. Yan Nanxing and the others checked the information and learned that Yan Nanxing's ability to transform was due to the Gui grass wanting to find Jiang Xinbai, so they decided to inform Jiang Xinbai about this. Tong Saier and Liu Ruoqian promised they would not reveal Yan Nanxing's transformation ability.
Tong Saier and Liu Ruoqian wanted to go with Yan Nanxing, but Yan Nanxing disagreed, saying Hua Xiangrong still needed them here, so he asked them to stay and guard the place. Yan Nanxing left with his mother, and his mother said Yan Nanxing just wanted to find Jiang Xinbai, but didn't stop him and told him to be careful.

Seeing Jiang Xinbai leave, Yan Nanxing remained uneasy and secretly crawled out through the dog hole. When Jiang Xinbai arrived at Yiyuan Mountain, the leader of the Black Mastiff Gang, Black Mastiff, came to talk to Jiang Boluoluo and took away his official documents, saying that since they no longer had the documents, he would have to arrest them. Yan Nanxing went out to a restaurant to eat noodles, where he encountered Bai Yuan and the others.

Yan Nanxing said he wanted to leave, but Bai Yuan said from the moment he brought Yan Nanxing back, he had never thought about letting Yan Nanxing go. Bai Yuan said he wanted Yan Nanxing to become his woman, and Yan Nanxing said he was already married, so Bai Yuan demanded to know who the man was so he could kill him.
