Episode 3 recap: Yan Nanxing came from the Jiangxin White Gang

Yan Nanxing explained the situation to the general's wife, who believed her and hoped Yan Nanxing would come back to continue treating her, which Yan Nanxing agreed to.
The general's wife wanted Yan Nanxing's mother and teacher to come as well, but Yan Nanxing quickly said they were helping someone else. Jiang Xinbai discussed with the general that he was a tea merchant from the Central Plains whose business was not going well, and a friend had advised him to seek the general's protection. The general asked who this friend was, but Jiang Xinbai did not want to say.
The general poured Jiang Xinbai some wine, hoping he would open up after drinking. Remembering Yan Nanxing's warning about the general's wine, Jiang Xinbai agreed to drink with him. Jiang Xinbai got quite drunk, and Yan Nanxing came to help him back. Jiang Xinbai said he couldn't see Yan Nanxing clearly, so he couldn't trust her.
The general's wife had planned to see Yan Nanxing, but when she saw Jiang Xinbai and Yan Nanxing together, she misunderstood and left quickly. Jiang Xinbai noticed Yan Nanxing's injury and asked if it hurt, wanting to change the dressing. Jiang Xinbai wanted to see the fireworks, so Yan Nanxing bought some and they watched together. Unexpectedly, Jiang Xinbai leaned on Yan Nanxing's shoulder and shed a tear, leaving Yan Nanxing speechless.
The next day, when Jiang Xinbai woke up, he was shocked to find himself with Yan Nanxing. Yan Nanxing said Jiang Xinbai had been drunk the previous day and touched her all over, and she had no choice but to bring him back. Jiang Xinbai insisted he would never do such a thing.
