Episode 19 recap: Sang Zhi's internship encountered difficulties.

Sang Zhi received the message that she had passed her interview. Sister Siyun got sick at work, and everyone urged her to go to the hospital immediately, although she was very reluctant to do so. On the first day of the interview, Sang Zhi dressed very formally. Sang Yan called to ask if she had booked her ticket, and although he was busy with his own relationship, he still planned to pick her up at the airport.

Sang Zhi hesitantly told Sang Yan that she would be interning here, which angered him and he scolded her for being brainless. Her roommates were also worried about Sang Zhi's future. Sang Zhi felt that Sang Yan would not believe her, so she decided to just tell Duan Jia Xu that her boyfriend was not bad, but it was Duan Jia Xu. However, the message had already been blocked by Sang Yan.

As an intern, Sang Zhi entered the company, but the department head Shi Xiao Yu happened to be Jiang Ying's friend. That day, Jiang Ying encountered Duan Jia Xu and Sang Zhi together, and Shi Xiao Yu was also nearby, and recognized Sang Zhi at first sight.

Shi Xiao Yu didn't even give her a chance to introduce herself, and simply gave her a disdainful look before leaving. Sang Zhi felt somewhat flustered, and proactively went to find Shi Xiao Yu, but she was immediately assigned work before she could even finish her self-introduction. At the end of the first day's internship, Sang Zhi was not actually happy, but she still told her parents that she was very happy and that her colleagues took good care of her.

Duan Jia Xu specially brought a bouquet of flowers to see her, and was very concerned about how Sang Zhi's first day at work went. Sang Zhi said she was already an adult. Duan Jia Xu gave her a small pig figurine, hoping she could have a happy internship. Duan Jia Xu planned to wait for the National Day holiday to go back with Sang Zhi to explain to Sang Yan, as it would be more sincere to do it face-to-face.

Sang Zhi and Duan Jia Xu were chatting on the phone when they were caught by Shi Xiao Yu, and Sang Zhi hastily hung up the phone.

When it was time to leave work, Sang Zhi was again asked to work overtime by Shi Xiao Yu, and her smile had become bittersweet.

Duan Jia Xu received the takeout Sang Zhi had ordered, and almost got surrounded by onlookers. When he called, he found that Sang Zhi was still working overtime and hadn't even had time to eat, so he went to find her. Leaning against Duan Jia Xu's embrace, Sang Zhi felt a great sense of comfort, and suddenly asked him if he really had never had a girlfriend before.

Duan Jia Xu understood that Sang Zhi might not be adapting well to her first internship, so he provided appropriate comfort. Although Sang Zhi was already very tired for the day, seeing him seemed to have recharged her. Shi Xiao Yu called again, asking Sang Zhi to stay late and work, and Duan Jia Xu also had to go back to the office to deal with work, so he could only send her back to the school before leaving.

The next day, Duan Jia Xu picked up Sang Zhi to go to work, and on the way he took a short nap. Sang Zhi noticed that Duan Jia Xu hadn't changed his clothes, and looked exhausted. Duan Jia Xu explained that he had multiple sets of the same outfit, but Sang Zhi could still tell that he had worked through the night.

In the company lobby, Sang Zhi hugged Duan Jia Xu's face and kissed him. Shi Xiao Yu happened to pass by and witnessed this, so she told Jiang Ying about it. Jiang Ying, upon learning that Duan Jia Xu and Sang Zhi were together, lost control of her emotions again, with a murderous expression on her face.

Sang Zhi was inexplicably scolded by Shi Xiao Yu under the pretext of a planning project, saying that she didn't know anything but still thought highly of herself, and that Shi Xiao Yu just didn't like her much. Jiang Ying invited Shi Xiao Yu to dinner that night, but since there was a company team building event, Shi Xiao Yu declined.

At the team building event, Sang Zhi found it very boring, and was about to make an excuse to leave when Jiang Ying pushed open the door to the private room.
