Episode 1 recap: The First Meeting between Sang Zhi and Duan Jia Xu.

There are a few moments in life that one can never forget, specific frozen points in time. Just like now, when Sang Zhi sees Duan Jia Xu for the second time up close, time really does have magic and has brought them closer. During middle school, the lively and carefree Sang Zhi was often called in by the parents, and this time after angering the math teacher, Sang Zhi was summoned again.

Within half a month, Sang's mother had come to the school twice. After school, some boys asked a classmate to invite Sang Zhi to the bookstore, but Sang Zhi was in a bad mood and didn't want to go anywhere, only wanting to message her older brother Sang Yan in college for help, only to have Sang Yan directly refuse.

Sang Zhi grumbled all the way home, intending to talk to her mother about being called in, but instead her mother said Sang Yan had returned. Sang Zhi happily carried a watermelon upstairs to find her brother, but the face that greeted her was a refined and sharp-featured one, and Sang Zhi momentarily lost her composure, thinking Sang Yan had gotten plastic surgery.

Luckily, Sang Yan soon appeared behind her, joking and teasing her, as he knew Sang Zhi well - if she wasn't causing trouble, how could he have returned home. Sang Zhi was quite interested in Duan Jia Xu, and Duan Jia Xu quickly came forward to greet her, as he was Sang Yan's roommate.

However, Sang Yan realized Sang Zhi had mistaken Duan Jia Xu for his post-plastic surgery self, and the sibling battle was about to begin. Sang Zhi begged Sang Yan to save her, and when that failed, she immediately started crying to tattle on him to their mother, hiding behind Duan Jia Xu.

After Sang Yan was taken away by their mother, Sang Zhi immediately stopped crying, surprising Duan Jia Xu, who didn't expect their siblings to be like this from a young age. Since Sang Yan wouldn't help, Sang Zhi set her sights on Duan Jia Xu, asking him to pretend to be her brother and meet the teacher.

As Sang Yan had to change clothes, Sang Zhi clung to Duan Jia Xu for help, but he had to leave for a part-time job. Grasping at this lifeline, Sang Zhi pleaded with Duan Jia Xu at the door, and learned that she was already in 8th grade, which surprised Duan Jia Xu, as Sang Zhi was quite small for a typical middle school student.

Duan Jia Xu asked her school, obviously to help her, leaving Sang Zhi alone in the original place feeling confused, why didn't she make it clear! Now Sang Zhi is already in her second year of high school, and Sang Yan unexpectedly returned home today, saying he wanted to borrow his father's car to move things. He moved back to the main campus, which is very close to Sang Zhi's school.

Upon learning that Sang Yan was going to move his roommate's things as well, Sang Zhi immediately offered to help him move, and under her sincere performance, Sang Yan had to agree under his parents' coercion. In the afternoon, when Sang Zhi went to help, she saw her dad's car downstairs, and then Duan Jia Xu appeared.

He recognized Sang Zhi at a glance, not expecting that after a few years she had grown up so much that he could hardly recognize her. Sang Zhi blushed and stealthily observed him while hugging her fox plush. Duan Jia Xu took Sang Zhi to their dorm, and his roommates were all delighted to see Sang Zhi, as she was really cute, and Sang Yan had to chase them away.

Duan Jia Xu invited her to sit with him, and as Sang Zhi sat down, she refuted his calling her "little sister", saying she was not little anymore! Duan Jia Xu sighed and carefully called her "sister". They discussed going to have hot pot for dinner, but Duan Jia Xu had to go to work, and before leaving, he told Sang Zhi that if she liked the fox plush, she could take it.

Sang Zhi was curious whether it was a gift from his girlfriend, but Qian Fei and the others told Sang Zhi that Duan Jia Xu was so busy like a dog that he didn't have time for a girlfriend, and this was a prize from some activity, just a decoration on his bed. Sang Zhi put the fox in her backpack and took one of Duan Jia Xu's books back home, looking at the things she couldn't understand, Sang Zhi felt a little troubled.

Sang Zhi deliberately left her notebook at Duan Jia Xu's place, and after he returned, she called him using Sang Yan's phone. They agreed to meet at 6:40 the next day, and Duan Jia Xu would accompany her to write an essay at the bus station. Sang Zhi quickly set her alarm to 5:30 and then placed the fox plush beside her to sleep soundly.

At 6 o'clock, Sang Zhi got up on time and went to the bus station, anxiously waiting for him, worrying that he might not come. Just like in her second year, Sang Zhi sighed the whole class, worrying that Duan Jia Xu might not come.
