Episode 10 recap: Sang Zhi took care of Duan Jia Xu.
Duan Jia Xu suddenly opened his eyes, and the two stared at each other intensely. Sang Zhi quickly went to the bathroom to calm down. Sang Zhi pushed a simple bed next to Duan Jia Xu and slept there, and Duan Jia Xu felt sorry for her, but Sang Zhi was happy about it, taking out her phone to message her friends. When someone's voice message started playing, Sang Zhi quickly turned down the volume.
Duan Jia Xu kept his eyes closed, and suddenly spoke up, asking Sang Zhi to tell him who wanted to invite her to watch a movie. But Sang Zhi told him not to try to pry into the lives of young people, as he wouldn't understand their world. The next day, Sang Zhi helped Duan Jia Xu wash his face early in the morning before going to class. Duan Jia Xu asked her to go home and get his computer, but Sang Zhi refused, saying he was sick and shouldn't keep working.
Hearing Sang Zhi scold him, Duan Jia Xu couldn't help but feel that she had really grown up. Sang Zhi hurriedly went to class, and her roommate said Jiang Ming had been asking about her. Sang Zhi could only tell Jiang Ming that her relative was sick, and apologize that she would try to take him to a movie another time.
Duan Jia Xu couldn't stay still, and wanted his boss to send him a computer, but the boss refused, telling him to rest well. Sang Zhi went to Duan Jia Xu's home, curiously looking around, and was surprised to find a photo of the two of them together. She also saw a photo of Duan Jia Xu and his mother, and introduced herself.
Sang Zhi got some clothes and two pairs of underwear for Duan Jia Xu, and her hands trembled as she closed the wardrobe door. As soon as Sang Zhi left, Jiang Ying arrived, not knowing that no one was home, and was in a very distressed state.
Sang Zhi went to the hospital with a lot of bags and packages. The patient in the next bed, an old man, saw Sang Zhi and thought she was Duan Jia Xu's daughter-in-law. Duan Jia Xu explained that she was his sister, but the old man, who was hard of hearing, kept persistently advising Duan Jia Xu to get married soon so as not to keep the young lady waiting. Duan Jia Xu could only agree and comfort Sang Zhi, saying the old man was just joking.
Sang Zhi was displeased and loudly told the old man that Duan Jia Xu could be his father. Unexpectedly, the old man thought Duan Jia Xu was going to be a father, which made Sang Zhi very upset. Duan Jia Xu had worked all night, and when Sang Zhi found out, she felt regretful, wishing she hadn't brought him the computer.
When Duan Jia Xu was about to be discharged, the old man was still advising him and Sang Zhi to get along well and get married soon. Sang Zhi simply said they would get married soon. She was depressed, not wanting Duan Jia Xu to joke about them having a relationship beyond siblings.
Sang Zhi accompanied Duan Jia Xu back home with the bags and packages, still feeling gloomy, thinking maybe Duan Jia Xu considered them only as siblings and was joking with her. Sang Zhi left many sticky notes at Duan Jia Xu's place, reminding him to eat well and not work too hard, saying she had to go back to do her homework and would treat him to a meal after he recovered.
After leaving, Sang Zhi comforted herself that it was fine, as she was just Duan Jia Xu's sister. However, Duan Jia Xu did listen to Sang Zhi and ate well, took his medicine, and didn't work late. Duan Jia Xu was worried that Sang Zhi was angry, so he specially asked Siyun to come and suggest he should make time to have a meal with Sang Zhi to clear the air.
Jiang Ying still called, but Duan Jia Xu was resolute that they no longer needed to be in contact. Sang Zhi went to watch a movie with Jiang Ming, but unexpectedly Jiang Ming was scared by the movie.
