Episode 7 recap: Wan Chun Society performs cross-talk to hypnotize.
The cross-talk performance was very well organized. Xu Xiaoqian was quite happy and thought they could get ready for bed. Zhang Yuan preferred to play the second-to-last role, and Xu Xiaoqian truly didn't understand why Zhang Yuan didn't actively strive to be a good cross-talk performer and always wanted to play the second-to-last role. Zhang Yuan appeared experienced and knowledgeable. He told Xu Xiaoqian that success in cross-talk relied on accumulating experience over time, and with his own qualifications, he couldn't surpass Pei Zhi Jie. Therefore, being able to perform second-to-last in Wan Chun Society was his biggest goal for the year.

When Pei Zhi Jie heard that Xu Xiaoqian was the person who had fallen asleep that day, they discussed it and felt that the other party was there to cause trouble.
General Wu directly expressed his gratitude to them for saying that he had fallen asleep. He said he couldn't sleep all day, but now he could fall asleep just by listening to cross-talk. When Pei Zhi Jie and Lu Zhi Fei perform, General Wu still doesn't fall asleep. He believes that Pei Zhi Jie and the others must be continuing the afternoon show. He wants to book the entire venue and promises to bring other audience members for the afternoon show. Pei Zhi Jie feels relaxed after coming down from the stage, but to their surprise, all the audience members are asleep. Wang Bo and the others feel insulted by this lack of appreciation for their talent.
General Wu is very grateful to them and didn't expect them to refuse doing business. General Wu agrees and doesn't ask for their money. The people in Wan Chun Society are all very happy.
