Episode 3 recap: Wang Bo set boundaries for Xu Xiaoqian.
Wan Xia found Xu Xiaoqian really annoying. She had clearly given him the keys, but now he was acting as if he wanted to break down the door. Xu Xiaoqian explained to Wan Xia that he had too many things in his hands and couldn't free them up. Wan Xia watched Xu Xiaoqian try to come in directly and stopped him. Xu Xiaoqian understood that Wan Xia was hinting that he needed to change shoes. He wanted Wan Xia to help him get a pair of slippers, but Wan Xia thought Xu Xiaoqian was being stubborn. She suggested that he put down his things first. Xu Xiaoqian, with determination, said that if Wan Xia helped him carry his things, he would put them down.
Wan Xia found this person really annoying, and she couldn't understand why Xu Xiaoqian was living with her. Xu Xiaoqian felt that Wan Xia was asking too much, insisting on a specific direction for the shoes. Xu Xiaoqian thought it was really troublesome. However, Wan Xia ignored his complaints and dragged him to the balcony, where she specified that each person could only use the clothesline for two days, and no one could occupy it beyond that.
Xu Xiaoqian thought it would be better to split it in half. Wan Xia stated that if he didn't comply, Xu Xiaoqian would have to move out. Xu Xiaoqian complained about Wan Xia's many rules but reluctantly agreed. When Wan Xia left, Xu Xiaoqian was searching for things in the room and tried on Wan Xia's coat. Just as he put it on, Wan Xia caught him red-handed.
Wan Xia looked at Xu Xiaoqian as he tried to explain and promised there wouldn't be a next time. Wan Xia was truly frustrated, but she had no choice. Wan Xia returned to the Wan Chun Society and told them that Xu Xiaoqian was simply a troublemaker. Everyone thought Wan Xia was too patient, and they wouldn't be able to tolerate such behavior.
Wang Bo felt that he had to help Wan Xia vent her anger no matter what.
Lu Zhi Fei advised Wang Bo not to act rashly for now, as Pei Zhi Jie was in a bad mood after recent failed blind dates. Wang Bo assured that he understood the situation and believed that they should teach Xu Xiaoqian some rules now that they had a new member.
Pei Zhi Jie handed Xu Xiaoqian over to Wang Bo. Wang Bo looked at Xu Xiaoqian carefully, smiling mischievously, which made Xu Xiaoqian a bit scared. Wang Bo told Xu Xiaoqian that they would learn how to fold a coat today and asked him to practice. While Xu Xiaoqian was catching his breath, Wang Bo assigned him the task of cleaning the table and serving tea to the senior brothers.
Upon hearing Wang Bo say that if he did well in these tasks, he could officially join them, Xu Xiaoqian felt happy and practiced diligently. However, folding the coat was too long and difficult. In a moment of desperation, Xu Xiaoqian tried standing on the ground, but it still didn't work. Zhang Yuan saw Xu Xiaoqian looking troubled and gave him a hand. He heard that it was a task assigned by Wang Bo, so Zhang Yuan felt that Xu Xiaoqian should practice on his own.
Xu Xiaoqian respectfully called Zhang Yuan "senior brother," and Zhang Yuan happily told him that he needed to practice folding the coat more. Wan Xia watched Xu Xiaoqian with an unreliable expression and decided to fold it herself. The tea brewed by Xu Xiaoqian wasn't very tasty. Zhang Yuan couldn't stand it anymore and wanted to help Xu Xiaoqian, but Wang Bo stopped him.
Xu Xiaoqian complained to Wan Xia about them bullying the newcomers. Wan Xia had a quick idea and asked Xu Xiaoqian to finish washing, leaving him with no choice. While Pei Zhi Jie was drinking water, Xu Xiaoqian accidentally spilled some on him. Pei Zhi Jie felt that Xu Xiaoqian was quite clever and gave him a separate task. Xu Xiaoqian was delighted and wanted to talk to Zhang...
