Episode 12 recap: Lu Zhi Fei wants to go to Antarctica.
Wang Bo told everyone about his childhood dream being mocked by Lu Zhi Fei. Wang Bo said that when he was little, he really loved playing with remote control cars, and they would only run fast when the batteries were new. That's when Wang Bo thought about opening a battery store, so he could always put fresh batteries in his car and beat everyone in the races.
Wang Bo then asked Xu Xiaoquan to share his childhood dream, but Xu Xiaoquan refused. Wang Bo then suggested that Pei Zhijie share his, but Pei Zhijie also said he had nothing to share. As soon as he said that, Xu Xiaoquan mockingly said Pei Zhijie's dream was probably to succeed at blind dates.
Lu Zhi Fei then chimed in, wishing Pei Zhijie would find a partner soon. Everyone laughed. Lu Zhi Fei then said Pei Zhijie's dream was to become a crosstalk performer like his master. Zhang Yuan didn't understand why Pei Zhijie thought using his mouth to battle the world was such a great thing.
Zhang Yuan said his dream was to become a crosstalk performer like Pei Zhijie. Xu Xiaoquan said he didn't have much of a dream, but now he wants to become the funniest crosstalk performer in the country. Wan Xia thought Xu Xiaoquan should think a little bigger. Wang Bo thought Pei Zhijie's dream was to become a chef.
Lu Zhi Fei looked at them and felt they were like sparrows unaware of the ambitions of a swan. He then asked Pei Zhijie what his actual childhood dream was. Pei Zhijie turned the topic back to Lu Zhi Fei, who then said his dream was to go to Antarctica. Everyone thought Lu Zhi Fei's dream was a bit strange.
Lu Zhi Fei then remembered that when he was little, he had told his friends that he would definitely go to Antarctica one day. Pei Zhijie zoned out looking at Lu Zhi Fei, then snapped him out of it. Lu Zhi Fei then revised his childhood story, saying he had always loved globes and dreamed of going to Antarctica.
Xu Xiaoquan thought it was remarkable that Lu Zhi Fei had a childhood dream at all.
Wang Bo told Lu Zhi Fei that his dream might come true. Wang Bo said he had seen an advertisement that said if you drink their beverage, you might win a prize to go to Antarctica.
After hearing this, Lu Zhi Fei spent a lot of money buying many of the beverages. Xu Xiaoquan asked Lu Zhi Fei if he had won anything, and Lu Zhi Fei was disappointed that he hadn't won a single prize. Xu Xiaoquan tried to take advantage of the situation and drink the beverages, but Lu Zhi Fei saw through his plan. Lu Zhi Fei saw Xu Xiaoquan going to buy more drinks and trying to collect the bottle caps.
Xu Xiaoquan suggested ways for Lu Zhi Fei to try and win the prize. Lu Zhi Fei generously let Xu Xiaoquan drink the beverages. Lu Zhi Fei collected a lot of bottle caps, and now the group was just getting sick of seeing the QR codes. Xu Xiaoquan complained that it was Wang Bo who told Lu Zhi Fei about this winning opportunity, causing Lu Zhi Fei so much disappointment.
Wang Bo felt bad being blamed, so he went over to encourage Lu Zhi Fei. Lu Zhi Fei saw some bottle caps in the trash can and thought that bottle must be a winner, but before he could scan it, Zhang Yuan told him he had already won.
Lu Zhi Fei was very happy that he could now go to Antarctica. The manager, Jia, said Lu Zhi Fei was a lucky person and wanted to recommend some advertisements to him. However, Jia gently told Lu Zhi Fei that going to Antarctica was actually quite difficult, and he would need to pass a company exam first. Lu Zhi Fei had to accept this in order to achieve his dream.
Lu Zhi Fei worked hard to improve his adaptability in preparation for the trip to Antarctica. Xu Xiaoquan and the others felt Jia was just toying with Lu Zhi Fei, so they went to confront Jia. The police took Jia away, and Lu Zhi Fei realized he had been duped. The group then helped Lu Zhi Fei achieve his dream of going to Antarctica, which deeply moved Lu Zhi Fei.
