Episode 13 recap: Aunt Wang's unique love for Zhang Yuan.

Lu Zhi Fei felt very full and rubbed his stomach. He asked Zhang Yuan how the tea was brewed. Zhang Yuan brewed the tea very strong according to Lu Zhi Fei's request. From a distance, Pei Zhi Jie frowned and looked at Lu Zhi Fei, as if he was worried.Lu Zhi Fei complained that Zhang Yuan made the tea too strong, but he held back his words and said it was very enjoyable. Zhang Yuan knew that Lu Zhi Fei was joking. Pei Zhi Jie couldn't help but say that Lu Zhi Fei should have some ambition instead of just focusing on eating and having fun.

Lu Zhi Fei seriously told Pei Zhi Jie that this time it wasn't his fault, but Director Gu's. Wang Bo thought Director Gu was kind enough to let them perform in the community and even treated them to a meal afterwards. Lu Zhi Fei excitedly said that Director Gu's mistake was preparing such a sumptuous meal. He finally understood what it meant to eat a hundred different dishes, and he had to taste a bit from every household.

Xu Xiaoqian felt that Lu Zhi Fei was speaking in riddles when it came to eating. Pei Zhi Jie smiled bitterly and said that Lu Zhi Fei was already thinking about the next meal right after finishing one. Wang Bo thought Lu Zhi Fei seemed to make some sense. Xu Xiaoqian felt that the aunties in the neighborhood treated Zhang Yuan like their own son, but Lu Zhi Fei felt that it wasn't an accurate description and that it should be like their own grandson.

Zhang Yuan felt that they were making fun of him. Wan Xia felt that they were saying that Zhang Yuan had a special status on stage. Zhang Yuan was curious when he heard everyone talking about being grandsons. He complained that they shouldn't make inappropriate jokes, and that they were really bullying him.

Pei Zhi Jie wanted to eat Kung Pao Chicken but felt that takeout always tasted the same. Lu Zhi Fei earnestly told Pei Zhi Jie that one should treat food with reverence. Lu Zhi Fei said that ordering the same dishes every day was distressing when it came to deciding what to eat, but the aunties would bring their own homemade dishes for everyone to enjoy.

When they reached the last piece of meat, Aunt Wang wanted to give it to Zhang Yuan and not let Lu Zhi Fei have it. Lu Zhi Fei felt a bit disappointed, as if he had fallen out of favor. Aunt Wang was delighted to hear that they enjoyed her cooking and said that ever since she started listening to cross-talk, she couldn't sleep and wanted to come here and chat with them.

Everyone welcomed Aunt Wang to join them. Aunt Wang had a special affection for Zhang Yuan, which made Lu Zhi Fei a bit envious.

Pei Zhi Jie and Wang Bo couldn't bear to watch anymore. Lu Zhi Fei wanted to drink pear juice, but Aunt Wang refused directly. Aunt Wang specifically bought ten tickets for Zhang Yuan's cross-talk performance for her close friends and reminded them to pay Zhang Yuan a little extra in the salary settlement.

Pei Zhi Jie quickly agreed. Aunt Wang's favoritism towards Zhang Yuan also made Zhang Yuan feel troubled. Aunt Wang called her old sisters directly for help and specifically cheered for Zhang Yuan. Wang Bo was angry, as Aunt Wang was meddling on stage and constantly making Zhang Yuan speak. He didn't even want to become Zhang Yuan's partner anymore.

Aunt Wang led her sisters to take a photo with Zhang Yuan, and he felt a bit nervous. Zhang Yuan didn't know what to say when the aunties asked him to speak. Wang Bo couldn't stand hearing the aunties' continuous praises for Zhang Yuan.

Zhang Yuan, Wang Bo, and Lu Zhi Fei all felt that Pei Zhi Jie should do something about it. Zhang Yuan felt like he was turning into a mascot. Lu Zhi Fei complained that since Aunt Wang attended a meeting, he hadn't eaten braised pork.

Seeing the hostile person approaching him, Zhang Yuan thought he was going to be attacked, but unexpectedly, Aunt Wang's son came forward and cried, saying that he hadn't eaten braised pork for a long time and asked Zhang Yuan to give his mom back. Pei Zhi Jie understood the situation after inquiring and knew who Aunt Wang's son was blaming.

Aunt Wang couldn't bear to see Zhang Yuan fighting with her son and was overwhelmed with a headache. She realized her children's intentions and felt guilty for treating Zhang Yuan and others that way. Wan Xia pulled Xu Xiaoqian and asked in a confused manner why Aunt Wang understood what was going on when the performance had reached this point.

Xu Xiaoqian felt that Aunt Wang had already figured it out a long time ago, she was just looking for a reasonable way out.
