Episode 17 recap: The Homework Controversy of Xiao Bao.
Lu Zhi Fei bought a lot of snacks, and when Wan Xia and Wang Bo saw them, they wanted to eat them. Lu Zhi Fei hesitated a bit when looking at those snacks. Just as he was about to start a big fight, he saw his son approaching, and he happily embraced and kissed his son. When he heard his son cry for help, Lu Zhi Fei sternly asked his son what was wrong and assured him of his support. His son explained that his mother wanted to send him to a tutoring class. Lu Zhi Fei wanted to try to persuade his wife, but then he saw his wife forcefully taking their son to the tutoring class.
When Lin Lin heard that Lu Zhi Fei wanted to take care of their child, she thought it was unreliable and suggested sending him to the summer program. However, seeing their child's unwillingness, she believed that the summer vacation was a good time to catch up with others and couldn't let Lu Zhi Fei hold their son back like this. When Wan Xia heard that Lu Zhi Fei's son ranked in the top ten and was being forced to attend remedial classes, they were stunned.

Pei Zhi Jie was also defeated by Xiao Bao. Lu Zhi Fei and the others felt that it was really difficult to manage kids nowadays. Xu Xiaoqian even thought about helping Xiao Bao with his homework. Lu Zhi Fei sighed constantly by Xiao Bao's side, and Xiao Bao knew that Lu Zhi Fei wanted him to do his homework, but adults were not trustworthy.
Lu Zhi Fei took Xiao Bao out to play for a summer vacation but didn't supervise him to do his homework. When Lin Lin came back, Lu Zhi Fei knew he was in trouble and decided to come clean. Lu Zhi Fei and Lin Lin realized that they had also made mistakes. Lu Zhi Fei marveled at how smart their son was, but Lin Lin said that he was her son after all.
