Episode 29 recap: Pei Zhi Jie wants to regain his youthful style.

Wan Xia and Xu Xiaoqian performed a crosstalk on stage. Their coordination was impeccable. After coming off stage, everyone felt that the audience was extremely enthusiastic. Xu Xiaoqian thought the flowers were sent by Manman and told Wang Bo not to let Manman down. Wang Bo clarified that the flowers were actually sent by the audience. Zhang Yuan believed that the audience's gifts and gestures were pure expressions of love for them.

Xu Xiaoqian mentioned that he was just joking around, but Wang Bo advised him to be careful and mindful of the consequences of his words. Xu Xiaoqian felt that Wang Bo didn't allow any jokes anymore. Wang Bo explained that sometimes it's okay to joke around, but one should be cautious because everything can be recorded.

In front of the camera, Xu Xiaoqian expressed his love for flowers but requested the audience not to send any more. He mentioned that flowers cannot be eaten and it would be better if they could transfer money via mobile phone. Wan Xia quickly interrupted Xu Xiaoqian, telling him not to say such things and that the audience's presence itself is the greatest encouragement for them. Xu Xiaoqian argued that there are more female audiences coming to listen to crosstalk nowadays because he is still young.

Pei Zhi Jie and Lu Zhi Fei happened to arrive. They felt that Xu Xiaoqian and Wang Bo were a bit too confident. Pei Zhi Jie informed everyone that there was no need to clean up today and left abruptly, which made everyone feel that Pei Zhi Jie was in a bad mood and must have something on his mind.

Lu Zhi Fei told everyone that Pei Zhi Jie's luck was not good. In the past, the audience liked elder performers, but now everyone prefers young and fresh faces, while Pei Zhi Jie and his generation have grown old. However, everyone still believed that the audience loved Pei Zhi Jie and his group. Xu Xiaoqian felt that Pei Zhi Jie and the others should embrace the changes of the times and be open to accepting new things.

Xu Xiaoqian pulled Pei Zhi Jie aside, wanting to give him a makeover. Everyone earnestly advised Pei Zhi Jie to make changes. However, Pei Zhi Jie didn't want to listen to what they had to say. He stated that he had the veto power, and their words didn't count. After speaking, he prepared to leave. Wang Bo noticed that something was off with Pei Zhi Jie and quickly held him back, trying to persuade him.

Pei Zhi Jie feels that he embodies his own style, and they don't understand it. Pei Zhi Jie is a bit unhappy when he hears others calling him "Old Pei." Xu Xiaoqian asks everyone to take a photo with Pei Zhi Jie, but when he sees them fooling around, Pei Zhi Jie starts to doubt himself and secretly listens to their conversation from below.

Xu Xiaoqian tells everyone that plucking their eyebrows can make them look younger. Pei Zhi Jie somewhat believes it and looks at himself in the mirror. Pei Zhi Jie talks to his friend and realizes that there is a gap between them. When his friend mentions accepting new things, Pei Zhi Jie falls into deep thought.

Pei Zhi Jie returns to the courtyard and chats with Zhang Yuan. He realizes that he seems out of touch with the times. However, when he hears that Zhang Yuan doesn't like drinking coffee, Pei Zhi Jie feels that they still have similarities. Everyone encourages Pei Zhi Jie to embrace change, and he decides to give it a try.

On the first day, he exercises with Wang Bo, but Pei Zhi Jie struggles to keep up. Then, he learns internet slang with Wan Xia, but Pei Zhi Jie finds it even more difficult to understand. Xu Xiaoqian tells Pei Zhi Jie to have the demeanor of the new era, as he believes Pei Zhi Jie walks with an old-fashioned air.

Xu Xiaoqian feels that Pei Zhi Jie has almost completed his transformation, but Pei Zhi Jie looks at his outfit and doesn't feel like a crosstalk performer. Nevertheless, Pei Zhi Jie joins everyone in dancing, although he feels that it's just fooling around. However, Pei Zhi Jie's mindset has changed, and he knows he needs to communicate and interact more with young people.
