Episode 19 recap: Wang Bo and Manman broke up and bid farewell.
Wang Bo wasn't in a good mood today. He sat there early in the morning, looking gloomy. Lu Zhi Fei tried talking to Wang Bo, but Wang Bo ignored him and left. Everyone was curious about what was going on with Wang Bo, but they didn't dare to ask. Lu Zhi Fei guessed that he must have had a fight with his girlfriend. Zhang Yuan thought it was unlikely because Wang Bo had just made up with Manman.
Lu Zhi Fei said that Zhang Yuan was still young and didn't understand what love was. Love meant fighting today and making up tomorrow, then continuing to fight the day after tomorrow. Xu Xiaoqian innocently remarked that if Lu Zhi Fei understood love so well, why did he divorce his sister Linlin? Lu Zhi Fei said there were reasons for his actions and that one day he would win Linlin back, but the timing wasn't right yet.
Xu Xiaoqian thought that if Lu Zhi Fei waited too long, Linlin would have already married someone else. Zhang Yuan told Lu Zhi Fei not to meddle in the affairs of young people anymore. Lu Zhi Fei suggested that they call or text Wang Bo, but they should definitely not interfere further.
Everyone followed Lu Zhi Fei's advice and sat down. Wang Bo called Manman, but she hung up and blocked him. Zhang Yuan asked Wang Bo what happened, and Wang Bo said that he was acting in a play with someone, and when Manman asked if it was a man or a woman, he heard it was a woman and hung up. Zhang Yuan thought that Wang Bo's actions were wrong.
However, Wang Bo believed that it was Manman who was wrong for hanging up. He said she had a strong desire to control him, even though they weren't married yet. Wang Bo said he wanted to give Manman some space.
Wang Bo asked Zhang Yuan to arrange a meeting with Manman, but when he went to meet her, he asked Manman to apologize to him. Manman was very angry and felt that Wang Bo was being unreasonable.
Wang Bo went back and resented Zhang Yuan, but Pei Zhi Jie didn't blame Zhang Yuan for the situation. Wang Bo felt that he was also being treated unfairly. Pei Zhi Jie thought that Wang Bo was really going too far by making him apologize.
Wang Bo said that he had already apologized, but Manman sang a line about being happy after breaking up. Her Weibo showed that she was single, which made Wang Bo very angry and hurt his self-esteem. He swore to give Manman the cold shoulder, but ended up going out to get drunk. Hua Jie thought Wang Bo was really pitiful and asked Xu Xiaoqian to go and bring Wang Bo back.
Xu Xiaoqian told everyone to let Wang Bo take off his mask and try it. Xu Xiaoqian discussed with everyone and when Manman arrived, she saw Pei Zhi Jie who lied to her and wanted to leave, but Xu Xiaoqian stopped her. Xu Xiaoqian took on the role of a host and organized a farewell ceremony for them, where everyone used heartfelt words to reminisce about their happy moments together. The two of them felt a bit awkward looking at the people on the stage.
When Manman and Wang Bo heard them saying they would block each other on their phones, they both felt a bit reluctant. Manman thought Wang Bo was going too far, and when she saw that Wang Bo had blocked her, she became very angry. Pei Zhi Jie and the others doubted Xu Xiaoqian's method.
Xu Xiaoqian asked them to swear that they would never meet each other again. Manman and Wang Bo said hurtful things to each other, and they started arguing. Wang Bo confessed that he had lied about playing games with a girl just to make Manman jealous. Manman thought Wang Bo was even more unreasonable and deliberately trying to upset her.
At the last moment when Manman was about to leave, Wang Bo expressed his deep love for her. Manman thought it was too late for Wang Bo to say that now. Pei Zhi Jie and the others urged Wang Bo to go after Manman so that they could reconcile.
