Episode 20 recap: You Lan's attempted assassination backfired and she was rescued.
Fu Rong thought that Shen Li had turned those fairies into roast meat and was worried about how to report to Tian Jun. When she looked up, she saw several fairies hanging high on the roof, with braziers burning beneath their feet. The fairies screamed in fear, their beautiful faces turning pale. Fu Rong tried her best to speak well of Shen Li in front of her, hoping that Shen Li would spare the fairies for the sake of her reputation. Although she untied the fairies, they chattered annoyingly.
