Episode 10 recap: Shen Li had many doubts about Xing Zhi's identity.

Xing Zhi took Shen Li to the riverbed to inspect the seal that had been placed there before. Despite Shen Li's poor swimming skills, Xing Zhi insisted on taking her to the riverbed. He held Shen Li's wrist, claiming that it was necessary to hold hands during the underwater technique, otherwise Shen Li wouldn't be able to breathe comfortably.

With such secrecy, Shen Li was skeptical. When she saw Xing Zhi urgently reinforcing the seal without holding her wrist, and yet she could still breathe freely, she knew that Xing Zhi had lied earlier. Xing Zhi began to awaken the spiritual beasts on duty in the riverbed. It only took a moment, and the water in the riverbed became crystal clear, completely different from the previously stagnant and polluted water.

Shen Li observed Xing Zhi's focused and affectionate spellcasting. It was exactly the same as Xing Yun's, but she reminded herself that Xing Yun from the mortal world was already dead, and the person standing before her now was a divine lord from the immortal realm. After clearing the miasma from the Xutian Abyss and the land and water beneath it, Xing Zhi revealed the hiding place of the artifact used to cleanse the miasma and explained why he brought her to the ancient divine tree and the riverbed. One reason was to help her heal her injuries, and the other was to calm her state of mind. The previous miasma invasion in her body had not been completely eliminated, leading her to involuntarily lose control.

So that's how it is. Shen Li was somewhat moved. She looked at Xing Zhi earnestly, but her inner voice kept reminding her that this person was not Xing Yun. Xing Zhi said that in the following days, Shen Li didn't need to accompany him to explore anymore. She could reinforce the seal on her own. Since Xing Zhi had made his decision, there was no need for her to stay any longer.

Back in her room, Shen Li lay on the bed, lost in her thoughts. At this moment, she missed Xing Yun the most. Unconsciously, she found herself at the entrance to the mortal realm, attempting to see Xing Yun again. Perhaps because of Shen Li's unique constitution, every time she arrived at the place where the miasma was strongest, she would feel restless. This time, she was once again enveloped by a powerful malevolent aura, unable to break free. She struggled to stay conscious, fearing being sucked into the abyss.

Just as she was on the verge of losing control, a bright light appeared, and Xing Zhi swiftly approached her. Xing Zhi dispersed the miasma around Shen Li and returned the weapon to her hand. Shen Li was puzzled about why Xing Zhi had come here. Xing Zhi only explained that the miasma in the Xutian Abyss was too strong, so he had to explore around to become more familiar with every corner.

Shen Li didn't believe this excuse. She asked Xing Zhi once again if he ever let his divine consciousness enter the mortal realm while resting. Xing Zhi clearly knew what Shen Li wanted to ask but replied in an ambiguous manner, saying that perhaps he did. In the immortal realm, Fu Rong Jun was enjoying a bath of fresh flowers when a subordinate hurriedly came to report. Upon hearing that Shen Li in the spirit realm had slain a fiend, first being swallowed by it and then breaking free with bloodied wounds, looking fierce and terrifying, Fu Rong Jun's face turned pale in fear. He had been pampered since childhood and had no fighting skills. How could he dare marry such a fierce and powerful bride? Just thinking about it made him shudder. As the wedding date approached, news came from the immortal realm, urging him to go to the spirit realm early to cultivate a relationship with Shen Li. At the thought of this, Fu Rong Jun became even more terrified. He even dreamed that Shen Li wanted to extract his heart's blood.

Unable to bear it any longer, Fu Rong Jun hurriedly went to seek an audience with the Emperor, hoping to cancel the marriage agreement.
