Episode 19 recap: You Lan is causing trouble for Shen Li in the immortal realm.
Xing Zhi pays a visit to Tian Jun and overhears him rambling on about how he has recently fallen in love with a jade cup from another deity's domain. He confesses that he is deeply infatuated and can't stop thinking about it. He desires to possess it but feels it would be unbecoming of a deity to do so. However, he is unwilling to let it go without a fight.
Xing Zhi resonates with these words as he himself has similar thoughts. Just as Tian Jun feels about the jade cup, Xing Zhi feels about Shen Li. It's difficult for him to let go. You Lan returns to the immortal realm, and many sisters from the realm come to visit her. They inquire about Xing Zhi's heroic efforts in dispelling miasma in the mortal realm. You Lan shares her experiences in the spirit realm and can't help but mention Shen Li. A few young deities mention that Shen Li seems to have fallen in love with a mortal who resembles the God Sovereign and has visited the mortal realm multiple times. You Lan hears this and becomes even more curious. She seeks confirmation from Fu Rong, but Fu Rong is confused and can't provide any explanation, leaving You Lan feeling uneasy.
Fu Rong begins a leisurely life in the Ninth Heaven. One day, she sees Shen Li's name at the Hundred Flowers Banquet. They are old friends, so Fu Rong happily goes to greet her and personally guides her through various places in the immortal realm. The immortal realm is accustomed to a superior lifestyle, and it's inevitable that they may look down upon visitors from the spirit realm. Shen Li can sense this and, on her first visit to the immortal realm, she doesn't want any unpleasant encounters.
Fu Rong and Shen Li discuss the idea of a prenuptial agreement. They agree that after marriage, they will treat each other as sworn siblings, and Fu Rong won't care about the secrets in Shen Li's heart, nor will Shen Li interfere with Fu Rong's relationships. Fu Rong believes that Shen Li will surely agree to this proposal, but to her surprise, Shen Li flatly refuses. Fu Rong is chilled by Shen Li's resolute gaze.
You Lan once heard Xing Zhi playing a sorrowful and melancholic tune on a leaf, which deeply touched the hearts of those who listened. The fairy who excelled in melodies claimed that Xing Zhi seemed to have fallen in love. This greatly displeased You Lan. Not long after, she heard a similar melody coming from Fu Rong Jun's residence, but the rhythm was not sorrowful, and the performance was unfamiliar. It was evident that someone else was playing. Fortunately, Fu Rong had a good sense of the situation.
