Episode 7 recap: Mo Qing and Gu Sheng met.
Gu Sheng thought about what happened earlier and found it a bit strange. She wasn't sure if this could be considered a date. Earlier, a little girl had given them balloons and wished them a happy Valentine's Day. When people saw Gu Sheng, they thought Mo Qing Cheng had good taste, saying that their family's daughter-in-law was no less impressive.
Mo Qing Cheng came to Gu Sheng's school to pick him up, and they went together to the game carnival. Mo Qing Cheng mentioned that there were many people around and asked Gu Sheng to save his phone number. In case they got separated later, they could find each other. Xiao Dong assured Gu Sheng that he wouldn't tell anyone about this. Gu Sheng returned home, and her mother informed her that her grandfather had been admitted to the hospital, so she wanted to go and see him. Gu Sheng was very worried and quickly asked what had happened. Her mother explained that her grandfather was fine; it had just been a long time since he had a check-up. His students insisted on arranging a comprehensive physical examination for him. Gu Sheng said she would go and check on him.
At the hospital ward, Gu Sheng coincidentally encountered Mo Qing Cheng. He explained that he came to find someone and that he was a heart surgeon, not in the same department. A colleague saw Mo Qing Cheng return and thought he must have been interrupted during a date. They suggested that even if the other person was understanding, he should apologize and go back. Gu Sheng and Mo Qing Cheng chatted, and Gu Sheng asked if Mo Qing Cheng would release a song today. She felt it was too conspicuous. Mo Qing Cheng explained that he promised his fans to provide some benefits, and if he didn't release this song, he would have to release something else. He asked Gu Sheng if she had any suitable songs.
Gu Sheng mentioned that she had recently composed a song and sent it to Mo Qing Cheng. After he sang it, he released it. Ling Long Ti Tuo, Mo Qing Cheng's colleague, happened to see him and asked if he had free time. Mo Qing Cheng said he had been busy lately, but Ling Long Ti Tuo wanted him to give her a ride. Mo Qing Cheng agreed.
