Episode 30 recap: Zhou Zheng and Geng Xiaoxing had a chat.
Zhou Zheng and the others were supposed to come back. When Zhou Zheng saw the message saying they were going to have supper, everyone wanted to create an opportunity for Zhou Zheng and Geng Xiaoxing, so they made excuses and left one by one. Zhou Zheng brought Geng Xiaoxing over to have supper together, and Geng Xiaoxing happened to see a place selling milkshakes and wanted to have one. Mo Bai and Mu Mu happened to be shopping around and saw Zhou Zheng and the others having supper here, so they joined them.
Mo Bai and Mu Mu also noticed that Zhou Zheng likes Geng Xiaoxing, so they started talking about Zhou Zheng's entrepreneurial experience and how difficult it was for him at the time. Zhou Zheng continued the conversation, and Geng Xiaoxing showed interest as well. Geng Xiaoxing originally wanted to go back and rest, but Zhou Zheng accompanied her and mentioned the message he received from Mo Qing Cheng. Since Gu Sheng was with Mo Qing Cheng, Zhou Zheng couldn't go back either.
Geng Xiaoxing didn't want to leave Zhou Zheng alone outside, so she stayed with him. When Geng Xiaoxing got tired, the two of them sat down and chatted. Geng Xiaoxing brought up Zhou Zheng's entrepreneurial journey and even mentioned his ex-girlfriend. Zhou Zheng didn't want to speak ill of his ex-girlfriend even though they broke up, so he didn't say much, only mentioning that they weren't very compatible.
Zhou Zheng asked about Geng Xiaoxing's future plans, and she said she didn't have any specific ideas at the moment. She just wanted to graduate smoothly, find a stable job, and eventually meet someone she mutually likes. The next day, Gu Sheng woke up and found himself still in Mo Qing Cheng's room, feeling shocked. He hurriedly went to find Geng Xiaoxing.
Geng Xiaoxing explained that Zhou Zheng had spent the night outside, and Gu Sheng thought Zhou Zheng was really honest because he didn't take advantage of the situation to come and sleep together. Geng Xiaoxing asked Gu Sheng what he and Mo Qing Cheng did last night, and Gu Sheng said they just rested together and didn't do anything else.
Mo Qing Cheng mentioned this matter to Zhou Zheng and asked what they talked about with the emcee yesterday. Mo Qing Cheng felt that he had helped them since they talked all night, which surely deepened their understanding of each other. Zhou Zheng didn't deny it. When everyone was eating together, Zhou Zheng kept serving food to Geng Xiaoxing, while Mo Qing Cheng served food to Gu Sheng.
They registered the application for the powdered milk and shoes and wanted Geng Xiaoxing to live with Dou Dou. Dou Dou didn't understand why Zhou Zheng suddenly brought this up. Zhou Zheng told Dou Dou to eat more fish head, as eating something can replenish what's lacking. Dou Dou finally understood and agreed. After dinner, everyone went off-roading together. Mo Qing Cheng gave Gu Sheng a hat to protect against sand, and Zhou Zheng also gave one to Geng Xiaoxing. The others had to help each other with protection.
Feng Ya Song wanted to ride in the same car as Dou Dou, but Dou Dou disagreed. Feng Ya Song went with Mu Mu in one car but complained that Mu Mu was driving too slowly. Everyone ate skewers together and teased Mo Qing Cheng to sing a song. Mo Qing Cheng agreed and sang the same song he had sung with Gu Sheng in a duet before.
Wang Ke provided accompaniment for them, and Gu Sheng and Mo Qing Cheng sang the song together, recalling that they had first met while singing this song. Their initial acquaintance was based on their voices, and since then, they came to know and understand each other. Wang Ke and the others also sang songs in that place.
Everyone gathered for archery. Wang Ke wanted to establish Zhou Zheng's tall image and competed with him. In the end, Zhou Zheng narrowly defeated Wang Ke, making Geng Xiaoxing very happy. Gu Sheng and Mo Qing Cheng also had a little competition in the corner, and Gu Sheng outperformed everyone. Zhou Zheng felt proud and believed it was a natural talent.
