Episode 26 recap: Mo Qing Cheng cooked for everyone.
In their group, Gu Sheng didn't perform. Instead, Gu Sheng's friends She Zhang and Guai Guai played a duet of a piece composed by Gu Sheng. Another person played the same song on the pipa, and the judges mentioned that someone had already performed that piece before with good results, asking if she wanted to choose a different one. The girl said that this was her first composition posted online and it held special meaning for her, so she decided not to change it. Gu Sheng was happy to hear this. Mo Qing Cheng took Gu Sheng and the others out to eat something as they had already ordered afternoon tea in advance. Gu Sheng asked how Mo Qing Cheng knew they were coming, and Mo Qing Cheng said he saw the guest list.
Mo Qing Cheng received a phone call saying that Guai Guai and their group had the highest score in the first round, which made them happy. Some people wanted to collaborate with Guai Guai, so Mo Qing Cheng and the others returned. Gradually, more and more people wanted to work with Guai Guai and have him accompany them. Both Guai Guai and the others insisted on letting Guai Guai decide for himself.
Guai Guai still hasn't decided who to collaborate with and said he needs more time to think. Currently, they are discussing where to stay. Gu Sheng said he has a suitable candidate in mind. Mo Qing Cheng brought breakfast for Gu Sheng and the others. Ling Long Ti Tuo also arrived, and Gu Sheng mentioned that she couldn't sing it herself and needed someone else to record the demo. Ling Long Ti Tuo offered to do it herself, sparing them the trouble.
Ling Long Ti Tuo went to the recording studio and felt that the song was indeed quite good, both in terms of melody and lyrics. Dou Dou and the others were rehearsing, each focusing on their own tasks. Everyone got excited and offered to help, resulting in them buying so many ingredients. Dou Dou joked that Mo Qing Cheng would have to cook all night.
Mo Qing Cheng returned and went to the kitchen to cook, with Gu Sheng assisting him. Zhou Zheng caught a whiff of the aroma and joined them, remarking that the fragrance was already filling the air, but he couldn't see or taste it yet.
