Episode 11 recap: Gu Sheng takes care of Mo Qingcheng.
Gu Sheng is here, and her hair accidentally got tangled with Mo Qingcheng's watch. Mo Qingcheng tells her not to move and helps her untangle it. Zhou Zheng happens to return. Gu Sheng mentions that the fresh meat mooncakes from this place are very famous, with a lot of people queuing up every day. She asks Mo Qingcheng if he wants to try them, saying she's treating him and they'll have to wait a long time. Mo Qingcheng doesn't mind since he won't be working tomorrow anyway.
Gu Sheng sees Mo Qingcheng coming out and wonders if there's something he wants. Mo Qingcheng says he just came out to use the restroom. Gu Sheng quickly tidies up the snacks she was eating. Mo Qingcheng asks what she likes to eat so that he can buy more snacks next time. Gu Sheng says it's fine, she can bring some from the convenience store next time she comes.
Mo Qingcheng asks Gu Sheng to sit here for a while as he still feels a bit dizzy and wants to lie down for a bit. Gu Sheng is worried and goes in to check on him. Her hair accidentally gets tangled with Mo Qingcheng's watch again, but he tells her not to move and untangles it himself. Zhou Zheng happens to come over, and Gu Sheng feels very embarrassed. In fact, Zhou Zheng was also there earlier. He noticed it from his own room, and Mo Qingcheng even sent him a message asking him not to come out to avoid making Gu Sheng uncomfortable.
Zhou Zheng is actually hungry and came out to find something to eat. He suggests that since Mo Qingcheng is still sick, they could make some light dishes themselves. Mo Qingcheng says he wants to eat steamed pork with rice flour. Gu Sheng thinks she doesn't know how to make it, and since Mo Qingcheng is sick, it might be too greasy for him. She suggests eating something lighter instead. However, Mo Qingcheng still wants to eat it, so Gu Sheng decides to look up the recipe and see how to make it.
Both Gu Sheng and Zhou Zheng aren't very good at cooking, so Mo Qingcheng suggests that he can do it himself. Gu Sheng tells him not to bother and says they can handle it. However, it's true that Gu Sheng and Zhou Zheng aren't skilled in cooking, and Mo Qingcheng usually takes care of the seasonings and such.
Gu Sheng used the ingredients prepared by Mo Qingcheng to make several dishes and, afraid that they wouldn't be enough, also made a dish of tofu with scallions. Mo Qingcheng found it very delicious. Zhou Zheng received a message from the studio's Wang Ke, who wanted to come over, but Mo Qingcheng disagreed, and Zhou Zheng also felt that having him as a third wheel was enough. However, Wang Ke and the others had already come. They waited downstairs for half a day, but their calls went unanswered, and they couldn't enter. Finally, they managed to convince an old man to let them in using his access card.
Mo Qingcheng felt frustrated by Wang Ke and the others coming over. After finally finishing their meal, Wang Ke and the others started playing games here. Zhou Zheng mentioned that there were still matters to attend to at the studio and took them away. In reality, the studio didn't really have anything urgent, and the three of them felt quite annoyed waiting downstairs in the cold wind. Mo Qingcheng messaged Zhou Zheng, asking for suggestions on how to interact with a girl. Zhou and the others headed downstairs, unsure of where to go now. Moreover, Wang Ke came on an electric scooter, which could only accommodate one person, so they couldn't take both of them. Zhou Zheng told them to do whatever they wanted and went to the studio himself. Wang Ke thought it was perfect, as the two of them could ride the electric scooter back to play games.
Gu Sheng was about to leave, and Mo Qingcheng accompanied her back. Mo Qingcheng expressed his gratitude to Gu Sheng for coming to see him today, but Gu Sheng didn't consider it a big deal. As they passed by a shop selling fresh meat mooncakes, Gu Sheng mentioned that the mooncakes from this shop were very famous, with long queues every day. She asked Mo Qingcheng if he wanted to try them, saying she would treat him even if they had to wait for a while.
Mo Qingcheng didn't mind because he wouldn't be working tomorrow anyway. So the two of them joined the queue, but unexpectedly, Gu Sheng's father happened to come by and saw them. He noticed Gu Sheng and mentioned that he and her mother had bought two large boxes of fresh meat mooncakes today, so she didn't need to buy them here. Gu Sheng explained that she wasn't buying them for herself but for her classmates. Her father suggested that it would be more convenient for them to take a box from home.
Gu Sheng's father saw Mo Qingcheng and suddenly walked over towards him, startling both Gu Sheng and Mo Qingcheng.
