Episode 29 recap: Gu Sheng and others went to Qiandao Lake for a tour.
Dong Yiru felt that he was considered part of the family now and was very happy. He wanted to give them some things, so he brought a lot of stuff. Gu Sheng wanted to pay the bill, but Dong Yiru didn't agree. He thought that he had promised to treat them. Mo Qingcheng accepted the items. Mo Qingcheng mentioned to Gu Sheng that he was going to Qiandao Lake for a seminar and wanted to take Gu Sheng along to have fun.
Gu Sheng thought that their family might not agree since they didn't approve of their previous trip to Yangshuo unless Geng Xiaoxing went with them. Mo Qingcheng said that he had met Gu Sheng's grandfather and brothers before, but the parents on both sides hadn't met yet. He wanted to take this opportunity for both sets of parents to meet. Gu Sheng didn't feel ready to meet the parents, so he thought of finding a reason to convince his family to let him go. Zhou Zheng and others knew that Mo Qingcheng and the others were going to have fun, so they said they wanted to go too, turning it into a group outing.
After Gu Sheng's cousin heard about it, he said he also wanted to go. He thought that if he accompanied Gu Sheng, their family would feel at ease. Gu Sheng asked Dong Yiru to go with them, saying that Dong Yiru had previously given them gifts, so it would be considered repaying the favor. Dong Yiru was happy at the thought of traveling with his idols and agreed. Feng Yasong returned from his business trip and mentioned how regretful he was for not attending the ancient-style event. Dou Dou brought him some homemade sauce duck legs to comfort him, and Feng Yasong said he wanted to pursue Dou Dou, which made Dou Dou feel a bit embarrassed.
Actually, Feng Yasong had mentioned before that he wanted to pursue Dou Dou, but it seemed more like a joke, and they didn't take it seriously. Zhou Zheng, upon hearing Feng Yasong's words to Dou Dou, felt that something was going on between the two. Zhou Zheng called Geng Xiaoxing and invited him to join them in Qiandao Lake. Geng Xiaoxing was watching the program where they perfectly dubbed the ancient-style event with his roommates and couldn't help but cry.
The roommate here praised Zhou Zheng, and Zhou Zheng heard it. Soon, Gu Sheng and the others arrived at Qiandao Lake. Gu Sheng had been recording until late last night and was very tired. Mo Qingcheng told Gu Sheng to rest for a while and not to rush into playing.
When Gu Sheng finished freshening up, he saw that Geng Xiaoxing had already fallen asleep. Gu Sheng went to find Mo Qingcheng, but Zhou Zheng had already gone out to play and wasn't there. Mo Qingcheng told Gu Sheng to rest there.
After Gu Sheng woke up, Mo Qingcheng took him out to play, and they went for a walk by the lake. Gu Sheng saw mountains in the distance and wanted to see what it looked like on the other side. Mo Qingcheng rented a hot air balloon and took Gu Sheng to have a look.
Gu Sheng was very excited to see the scenery on the other side. Mo Qingcheng watched by the side and kissed Gu Sheng. Everyone went swimming, but Zhou Zheng just stayed on the shore and watched, not joining them. After Geng Xiaoxing woke up, he also came over, and Zhou Zheng showed off his muscles before going for a swim.
Everyone then realized what Zhou Zheng meant, and they teased him, making Geng Xiaoxing feel a bit embarrassed. Gu Sheng and Mo Qingcheng didn't join them in swimming but sat there looking at the stars.
Gu Sheng mentioned the song that Mo Qingcheng had sung before and wanted to hear him sing it again. Mo Qingcheng agreed and sang it again for Gu Sheng. Gu Sheng's cousin came back, so they quickly hid.
Gu Sheng felt tired, and Mo Qingcheng told him to rest there. Mo Qingcheng sent a message to Zhou Zheng.
