Episode 12 recap: Mo Qingcheng met Gu Sheng's family.
Mo Qingcheng accompanied Gu Sheng home and asked him when he planned to release that song, "Yu Jun Gui." Gu Sheng hesitated and felt that the song was too ostentatious, making him feel embarrassed. Gu Sheng's older brother spotted them from the balcony and asked what they were doing there. Gu Sheng's brother inquired about the person next to Gu Sheng. Surprisingly, Gu Sheng's father revealed that the person was Mo Qingcheng, a doctor who worked at the hospital across the street, and that he often saw him. Later, at the convenience store, Gu Sheng's father introduced Mo Qingcheng to Gu Sheng.
Both Gu Sheng and Mo Qingcheng pretended not to know each other and exchanged greetings. Gu Sheng's father left first, and Mo Qingcheng was going to take the subway back. Gu Sheng initially wanted to accompany him, but Mo Qingcheng thought it was unnecessary in case they ran into Gu Sheng's father again. Mo Qingcheng started walking towards the subway station but then turned back. After Gu Sheng returned home, he also hurried back, afraid that Mo Qingcheng might not find the way, wanting to accompany him.
Mo Qingcheng accompanied Gu Sheng home on a bicycle, with Gu Sheng sitting behind him. After hesitating for a moment, Gu Sheng hugged Mo Qingcheng's waist, feeling somewhat embarrassed. Mo Qingcheng asked Gu Sheng when he planned to release the song "Yu Jun Gui," and Gu Sheng asked if it was too ostentatious, referring to the same song. He felt self-conscious about it.
Gu Sheng's older brother noticed them from the balcony and asked what they were doing. Gu Sheng quickly pretended to be giving directions to Mo Qingcheng, and they continued walking ahead. When Gu Sheng returned home, his brother and others mentioned the incident, thinking that the guy who appeared now was pretending to ask for directions but was actually trying to strike up a conversation with a young girl. They advised Gu Sheng to be cautious.
Gu Sheng's grandfather also shared the story of how he and their grandmother met. He mentioned that their grandmother had a brother who went off to war and never returned. Once, their grandmother heard a noise and thought it was her brother returning, so she called out his name, but it turned out to be Gu Sheng's grandfather answering. Surprisingly, their names were exactly the same, and Gu Sheng's grandfather believed it was fate.
Feng Yasong finally returned to the studio after a long day's work. Dou Dou felt relieved that Feng Yasong had come back, and Feng Yasong mentioned that he had no choice but to return because he was extremely busy. Mo Qingcheng asked if Feng Yasong planned to go back, and Feng Yasong replied that he had to go back for the night shift since there were many children with colds, and the pediatric department was incredibly busy. Dou Dou brought some information about the previous class's students, as they needed to hire two full-time employees and wanted them to evaluate and select two candidates from the pool.
Mo Qingcheng and the others saw the information about Zou Diao'er (a nickname), and Feng Yasong asked Mo Qingcheng if he knew him. Mo Qingcheng mentioned that he had encountered him before. Zou Diao'er shared his experience of entering the voice acting industry and explained that even though he was from the Music Society, he also had a great interest in voice acting, which led him to study in this field. Moreover, Feng Yasong was his idol, and recently, he had been in contact with voice acting because of him.
Feng Yasong was curious about whether Zou Diao'er had passed the evaluation, so he urged Dou Dou to quickly calculate the total scores given by the four evaluators. Dou Dou was aware that Zou Diao'er was a fan of Feng Yasong. Feng Yasong made a phone call to Zou Diao'er, who was extremely excited on the other end and wondered if he should check his horoscope to see if he would be accepted. He hung up the phone abruptly.
Feng Yasong found Zou Diao'er quite unique and called him back. Zou Diao'er received the call and learned that he had passed the evaluation, which made him ecstatic. Meanwhile, Mo Qingcheng went to the convenience store at Gu Sheng's hotel and coincidentally ran into a colleague. The female colleague showed some interest in Mo Qingcheng and stayed close to him, but Mo Qingcheng didn't engage in much conversation with her.
There were two female customers nearby secretly discussing how they wanted to get Mo Qingcheng's contact information. Unexpectedly, Mo Qingcheng approached Gu Sheng and asked if he could have her contact information.
