Episode 8 recap: Wang Qianqian pretended to be sick.

Early in the morning, Wang Tingzhi was cooking fried rice in the kitchen, adding a lot of ingredients, filling the air with a delicious aroma. Wang Qianqian knew that Huang Yilin wanted to eat, so she invited her to join. However, Wang Tingzhi was unwilling and deliberately made sarcastic remarks about Huang Yilin, saying that she must dislike his cooking and wouldn't want to eat the food he made. As a result, Huang Yilin didn't eat. After the meal, Wang Tingzhi left the house, but Wang Qianqian suddenly started complaining of a stomachache. Huang Yilin was worried and tried calling Wang Tingzhi, but he didn't answer. She quickly took Wang Qianqian to the hospital, but after the examination, it was found that there was nothing wrong with Wang Qianqian. This puzzled Huang Yilin, and she became even more desperate for the doctors to find the cause.

The doctor thought Huang Yilin was a stepmother who cared so much for the child, which touched her deeply. She immediately requested an urgent examination from the chief physician. When Wang Qianqian learned that she would undergo a cardiac examination and that a needle would be inserted through her thigh, she got scared and quickly claimed that she was no longer in pain, pulling Huang Yilin away. Wang Tingzhi called Huang Yilin, and while she was complaining about him finally remembering Wang Qianqian, she intended to answer the call. At that moment, Wang Qianqian reminded Huang Yilin that if they hurried back to the shop now, they might still make it in time. Huang Yilin immediately realized that Wang Tingzhi intentionally delayed her by using Wang Qianqian, in order to sell the shop. She rushed back and tore up the house-selling contract that Wang Tingzhi had prepared, accusing him of being despicable. No matter what Wang Tingzhi said about having his reasons, Huang Yilin scolded him harshly.
