Episode 17 recap: Huang Yi Lin encounters a love rival.

Bai Yu Jue deliberately shows her strong connection with Wang Ting Zhi in front of Huang Yi Lin. Taking the opportunity to bring clothes for Huang Yi Lin, she emphasizes how similar their preferences are. When Huang Yi Lin was younger, she used to borrow Bai Yu Jue's skirts to wear. This time, Bai Yu Jue specifically chose a dress for Huang Yi Lin according to her own liking, believing that Huang Yi Lin would definitely love it.

Upon returning home, Huang Yi Lin thinks about the scene earlier and regrets not clarifying her feelings, thus breaking Bai Yu Jue's thoughts about Wang Ting Zhi. However, she lacks the courage to speak up now and can only contemplate without taking action. She convinces herself to deal with the matter later and decides to sleep first.

On this day, Bai Yu Jue accepts Luo Hao's invitation to visit a restaurant. The dishes not only have exquisite presentation but also interesting color combinations. Bai Yu Jue initially assumed it would be expensive, but it turns out to be affordable, which makes her very satisfied.

Wang Ting Zhi, Huang Yi Lin, Zhang Bao Qin, and Wang Qian Qian go to the seaside together. Wang Qian Qian follows Wang Ting Zhi and picks up seashells on the beach. When Wang Ting Zhi turns around and realizes that Wang Qian Qian hasn't caught up, he quickly goes back to check. Unexpectedly, Wang Qian Qian pushes him into the sea, and they both burst into laughter.

Wang Ting Zhi rides a motorboat out to sea and instructs Wang Qian Qian to find Zhang Bao Qin. Upon his return trip, he notices Huang Yi Lin floating away on a lifebuoy, in need of his help. He quickly rescues Huang Yi Lin and brings her back to the shore. Surprisingly, Huang Yi Lin's foot cramps up. He assists her as they return to find Zhang Bao Qin, causing Zhang Bao Qin to be deeply worried.
