Episode 1 recap: Huang Yilin apologized to the Kitchen God.

Wang Tingzhi is a chef. Today, he came to Macau with his daughter, Wang Qianqian. After instructing his daughter not to run around, he went to find their accommodation. However, Huang Yilin mistook him for the Kitchen God. Huang Yilin and her grandmother, Zhang Baoqin, run a bakery. Recently, Zhang Baoqin was hospitalized, so Huang Yilin not only had to raise money for medical expenses but also manage the shop. In order to improve business, Huang Yilin, persuaded by her friend, dressed up in costume favored by the Kitchen God to welcome him, hoping to gain his approval and help promote their products.

When Wang Tingzhi appeared at the shop's entrance, Huang Yilin warmly welcomed him inside without giving him a chance to speak. She offered him the shop's signature egg tarts and pastries. Despite Wang Tingzhi's repeated refusals, Huang Yilin insisted, and he reluctantly took a bite but spat it out immediately, thinking that with such products as their signature, the shop was bound to fail.

Feeling upset, Huang Yilin received a call from her friend, who informed her that she had mistaken the person. She quickly took Wang Tingzhi to the kitchen. As the Kitchen God was about to leave upon seeing the scattered pastries and chairs inside, her friend managed to calm him down and bring him into the shop. Huang Yilin rearranged the pastries and was about to take them out, but Wang Tingzhi stopped her. He observed the available ingredients in the kitchen while instructing Huang Yilin to assist him in making egg tarts on the spot, aiming to leave a good impression on the Kitchen God.
