Episode 7 recap: The master of the sect ordered the deaths of Zhao Xiao Ren and Jun Mo.
Zhao Xiao Ren's two companions came to find Zhao Xiao Ren, willing to pretend they didn't know them and have them chased away. Jun Mo came, and the two companions were shocked to learn that Zhao Xiao Ren had married Jun Mo.Li Wei told Zhao Xiao Ren that the master had ordered both Zhao Xiao Ren and Jun Mo to be killed. Li Wei was injured trying to protect Zhao Xiao Ren, and Zhao Xiao Ren questioned why he was so foolish.
Zhao Xiao Ren claimed she didn't know the two companions, asking for them to be chased away. Zuo Xia Chen claimed to be Zhao Xiao Ren's cousin, and Li Wei her cousin as well, questioning how they could not know each other.
Jun Mo arrived and said since they were relatives, they should stay and be well entertained. The two companions were shocked to learn Zhao Xiao Ren had married Jun Mo. During the meal, Li Wei switched seats to sit next to Zhao Xiao Ren, constantly helping her with her food.
Jun Mo mentioned Chen Yuan was also Zhao Xiao Ren's cousin, but neither of the companions said anything. An argument broke out, and Zhao Xiao Ren left, with Li Wei quickly following her.
Li Wei told Zhao Xiao Ren that the master had ordered both of them to be killed, and questioned why she had married Jun Mo if she was meant to assassinate him. Zhao Xiao Ren said she understood.
Zuo Xia Chen got into an argument with Zhao Xiao Ren, saying there had been many assassination attempts on them recently that she had helped defend against, and Li Wei had been injured protecting Zhao Xiao Ren.
Zhao Xiao Ren hugged Li Wei, and Jun Mo on the rooftop overhead heard their conversation and witnessed this scene.
