Episode 5 recap: Zhao Xiao Ren assassinated Jun Mo.
Zhao Xiao Ren was injured, and Jun Mo brought some medicine to help treat Zhao Xiao Ren's wounds. When Jun Mo saw the mark on Zhao Xiao Ren's back, he was very surprised, and Zhao Xiao Ren said it was a birthmark.Zhao Xiao Ren looked at Jun Mo's back and felt like she had seen him somewhere before. When they were young, Zhao Xiao Ren had hugged Jun Mo, saying that if she shared his sorrow, it would be split in half. Jun Mo took Zhao Xiao Ren out and asked why she had tried to kill him.
Jun Mo tried to press Zhao Xiao Ren's acupuncture points and asked if she recognized a jade pendant, but Zhao Xiao Ren forcefully broke out of the acupuncture points, unwilling to discuss the pendant. Jun Mo apologized, saying he had just wanted to frighten her.
The two went to the river and skipped stones, and Zhao Xiao Ren returned to her room and told her assistant Chen Yuan to put away the hidden weapons, as they wouldn't be needed for now. Chen Yuan asked if Zhao Xiao Ren had fallen for Jun Mo, but Zhao Xiao Ren denied it.
Chen Yuan said that Mo Wei and Jun Mo were working together, as Jun Mo was the master of the Jasmine Villa. Zhao Xiao Ren found this plausible and came to try to assassinate Jun Mo, but he was bathing and caught her. Zhao Xiao Ren was very embarrassed, and they argued, with Zhao Xiao Ren accidentally falling into the bathtub, and Jun Mo quickly pulling her out, both feeling very awkward.
