Episode 3 recap: Zhao Xiao Ren saw the murderer of his father.
Jun Mo woke up and found a strange woman there, which greatly surprised him. It turned out that this woman was Chen Yuan, Zhao Xiao Ren's cousin, who had been brought back by her. Jun Mo was very angry, saying that Zhao Xiao Ren himself was a fraud, and he had brought his cousin over as well.
Zhao Xiao Ren and Jun Mo started to argue. Jun Mo told Chen Yuan to leave, and then took Zhao Xiao Ren to see Mo Wei. The Crown Prince was very angry with Jun Mo's actions, and vented his anger on the palace maids and eunuchs in his own residence, whipping them.
