Episode 12 recap: Zhao Xiao Ren was worried about Jun Mo.
When Jun Mo saw that Zhao Xiao Ren had woken up, he was very happy. Zhao Xiao Ren asked Jun Mo if he had died. Jun Mo told Zhao Xiao Ren not to say such things, and said there was no way Zhao Xiao Ren could have died.Zhao Xiao Ren said he would definitely investigate the case from back then and find out how his master had died. He said it was Mo Wei who had said Jun Mo's father was a traitor. Zhao Xiao Ren disagreed with letting Jun Mo leave quickly, and even drew his sword on Jun Mo, though Jun Mo did not want to leave and said he was the one who had wronged his master back then.
There was an assassin nearby who wanted to kill Zhao Xiao Ren. Jun Mo stood in front of Zhao Xiao Ren and was shot by an arrow meant for Zhao Xiao Ren. Zhao Xiao Ren was very anxious and quickly brought Jun Mo back.
When Jun Mo woke up, Zhao Xiao Ren was very happy to see it. Jun Mo asked Zhao Xiao Ren if he had died. Zhao Xiao Ren told Jun Mo not to say such things, and said there was no way Jun Mo could have died.
Jun Mo said he would definitely investigate the case from back then and find out how his master had died. Mo Wei came and knelt down, and Zhao Xiao Ren said it was Mo Wei who had said Zhao Xiao Ren's father was a traitor back then. Mo Wei stood up and said he had been kneeling his whole life, and now he could finally stand upright. He said the evidence back then was found by Lord Zuo, but Lady Zuo Xia Chen was shocked and said it was impossible.
Zhao Xiao Ren's father had great military achievements, and knowing this, he had decided to retire. But soon after, the border was again under attack. At that time, Jun Mo had gone there to try to persuade Zhao Xiao Ren's father to stop fighting, and someone had tried to kill Zhao Xiao Ren, so Zhao Xiao Ren's father had protected Zhao Xiao Ren.
