Episode 13 recap: Jun Mo was injured.
Mo Wei brought up the events of the past, and Jun Mo stated that he would definitely avenge his father. Jun Mo said that Zhao Xiao Ren was a prince, and only Zhao Xiao Ren could change everything. Zhao Xiao Ren was injured, and Jun Mo was very anxious. Zhao Xiao Ren said he was very cold, so Jun Mo quickly hugged Zhao Xiao Ren to warm him up.
Mo Wei mentioned the events of the past, and Zhao Xiao Ren said he would definitely avenge his father. Mo Wei said that Zhao Xiao Ren's father had wanted Jun Mo to become the emperor back then, and Jun Mo acknowledged that his master had indeed favored him.
Jun Mo did not want anyone to die because of him, but Mo Wei said that many people had already died because of him. Zhao Xiao Ren stated that Jun Mo was a prince, and only Jun Mo could change everything. Since everyone thought so, Jun Mo did not know what to say. Jun Mo wanted to drink, and asked Zhao Xiao Ren to keep him company, but Zhao Xiao Ren told Jun Mo not to drink.
The wine was poisoned, and Jun Mo was poisoned. He asked Zhao Xiao Ren to bring some ice so he could detoxify himself. Zhao Xiao Ren was very anxious and went to get the ice, but many assassins appeared and attacked. Zhao Xiao Ren fought and defeated the assassins.
Jun Mo put the ice in the bathtub and said he was very cold. Zhao Xiao Ren quickly hugged Jun Mo to warm him up, and Jun Mo was fine.
The next day, Mo Wei summoned his subordinates and said the assassins were from their own manor. The subordinates thought the people were honest and could not have done such a thing, but Mo Wei insisted that they were the ones who attacked Jun Mo the previous day. The subordinates immediately knelt down, saying they had misjudged the people.
