Episode 10 recap: Mo Wei came to visit the Queen Mother.
Li Wei discovered evidence in this booklet that Mo Wei and the Queen Mother were conspiring together to kill Zhao Xiao Ren's father. Jun Mo originally wanted to bring the handbook of Zhao Xiao Ren's father to show Zhao Xiao Ren, but when he went to the study, he found that the handbook in the hidden compartment was missing.
Zhao Xiao Ren came to Li Wei's room and began searching, believing that the two of them had taken his father's handbook. Zhao Xiao Ren did not find the handbook, and Li Wei was relieved that Zhao Xiao Ren could not read.
Chen Yuan returned, and asked Zhao Xiao Ren what happened, as he had suddenly left the previous day, leaving her behind. Zhao Xiao Ren remembered that he had left Chen Yuan and quickly apologized.
Chen Yuan brought up the topic of Jun Mo, and Zhao Xiao Ren told her that Jun Mo was actually the Seventh Prince, who had been demoted to the Jasmine Manor. Zhao Xiao Ren's father had been an official, and Jun Mo had studied under him, which is how they knew each other. Chen Yuan asked if they should leave with Jun Mo, but Zhao Xiao Ren was unsure, as Chen Yuan felt that even though Jun Mo had been demoted, he was still a prince and they were not on the same level.
Zhao Xiao Ren fell silent. Mo Wei came to see the Queen Mother, and the Queen Mother told him that they had already agreed not to meet again, otherwise either he or she would have to die.
