Episode 22 recap: Lin Mengchen has contracted erysipelas (a bacterial skin infection).
In order to keep Ye Xiaosheng clear-headed, the hall master instructed him to interrogate Lin Mengchen. If Lin Mengchen couldn't provide useful information, he would be killed. In order to save Lin Mengchen's life, Ye Xiaosheng revealed that the girl killed ten years ago was Cao Fang's daughter, and that Lin Mengchen was the daughter of the Lin family's Lin Yueting.
