Episode 15 recap: Lin Mengchen and Ye Xiaosheng disguised themselves as a married couple on a mission.
Lin Mengchen wanted to plan an escape route for Cao Fang. While she was contemplating at the alley, a dart flew past her and landed in a wooden crate nearby. This made her think that Ye Xiaosheng, who had been following her earlier, was responsible. She picked up the dart and returned home, only to find Ye Xiaosheng looking at account books. Without hesitation, she shot the dart onto the sofa. Ye Xiaosheng reproached Lin Mengchen for damaging her favorite sofa, as they had gone through a lot of trouble to find it and buy it.
Lin Mengchen questioned Ye Xiaosheng if he had been following her, but he denied it. However, Lin Mengchen had already deduced from his shoes, clothes, and the lingering scent of oil on him that he had indeed been following her. She just didn't understand why he hadn't followed her into Cao Fang's residence. Ye Xiaosheng expressed his respect for Lin Mengchen's determination and stated that he believed as long as she wanted to tell him, he would know. And if she didn't want to say it, he would continue to protect her.

Lin Mengchen played the role of a jealous wife who came to the nightclub to catch her unfaithful husband and chased after Ye Xiaosheng with a whip. In the end, they discovered the captive girl and went to great lengths to rescue her.
When Ye Xiaosheng reported the situation to the leader, the leader noticed the injuries on his hands, which surprised him greatly. Lin Mengchen tended to Ye Xiaosheng's wounds, and this physical contact led Ye Xiaosheng to finally give in to his feelings and kiss Lin Mengchen.
