Plot Synopsis
"To the Wonder" is adapted from Li Juan's collection of essays with the same title. It tells the story of Li Wen Xiu, a Han Chinese girl who grew upin Altay. Shepursues her literary dreams in a big city but faces constant setbacks, forcing her to retuto her hometown and rely on her mother, who runs a small shop. After meeting Ba Tai, a Kazakh boy, Wen Xiu gradually discovers the beauty of the local area.
