Episode 5 recap: Zhao Xin Tong was humiliated.
Zhao Hao Tian used all his strength to desperately kill Hei Feng, but even though he unleashed all his power and fought to the death, he couldn't harm Hei Feng in the slightest. Yi Mei and Xing Zhi watched Zhao Hao Tian's foolish and sacrificial approach and found it completely unacceptable. After seeing his senior brother being mesmerized, Hu Zi exerted all his strength to try to kill Hei Feng but ended up being toyed with by Hei Feng. Xing Zhi believed that she had won against Yi Mei, but Yi Mei felt that the outcome was still uncertain. Hu Zi was trapped in the illusion created by Hei Feng, but Hei Feng didn't discover anything terrifying in Hu Zi's heart.
Hu Zi also collapsed on the ground. Qi Xiao Xuan, witnessing Hu Zi's fall, fought with all her might against Hei Feng but found herself unable to prevent her own collapse. When Zhao Hao Tian was about to sacrifice himself alongside Hei Feng, he suddenly noticed that his daughter had returned.
Zhao Xin Tong, however, was no match for Hei Feng and was quickly defeated. Zhao Xin Tong learned the Yanling spear technique and killed Hei Feng. Yi Mei felt that the show had already ended and it was time for her to intervene and wrap things up. Seeing his daughter's exceptional abilities today, Zhao Hao Tian felt relieved even in his passing.
Zhao Hao Tian told his daughter that he had actually known about her gun training all along, and if he could go back in time, he would never have stopped her from practicing and would have trained with her. Zhao Xin Tong, witnessing her father's passing, burst into tears of sorrow. In that moment, she shed her previous naivety and grew mature, deeply moved as she watched the people kneeling to send off her father.

Suddenly, many people arrived overnight, and Bai Hu cut off one of his own tails to protect his son and fought desperately outside. The person who entered the room did not find any trace of the child and left.
Hu Zi watched as others dragged away his mother. After waking up, Hu Zi kept calling for his mother. Qi Yan Ran couldn't help but complain to her father about her younger brother causing so many people to be displaced on his first mission. However, upon hearing her father defending her brother, she couldn't help feeling a bit annoyed.
While on a mission, Qi Yan Ran discovered an ambush and swiftly killed the ambushers. Zhao Xin Tong was busy organizing her father's funeral, and the townspeople were grateful to Zhao Hao Tian for saving their lives, so they all came to attend the funeral.
