Episode 27 recap: Hu Zi rushed towards Yang Ancient Town.
Hu Zi and Wang Yu Qian saw the village in front of them and felt that the people here had kidnapped Zhao Xin Tong. Hu Zi wanted to charge straight in and catch them off guard. However, Wang Yu Qian believed that the place was easily defensible, and a direct assault would not work. Besides, the people inside had likely anticipated any methods they could come up with.
Hu Zi felt frustrated as he couldn't find a suitable plan of action. Wang Yu Qian told him that they would have a solution once it got dark. Zhao Xin Tong wanted the person beside her to untie her ropes. At that moment, the leader approached and proposed a marriage alliance with Zhao Xin Tong. Realizing that a forceful escape was not feasible, Zhao Xin Tong tried a softer approach, hoping to find an opportunity to flee. The leader assured her that the people from the Ju Lun Kingdom were loyal and would treat her well.
Zhao Xin Tong told the leader that she desired a sense of ceremony and that they could only become a true couple after a marriage ceremony. She wanted to buy time by creating a diversion and seizing an opportunity. While drinking the alloy wine, suddenly someone burst in from outside. Zhao Xin Tong guessed it was Hu Zi and his group, so she quickly engaged in a fight with the leader, but they were caught.
Feeling fooled, the leader ordered his men to watch over the bride while he went out to face the enemy. Hu Zi and his companions silently attempted to rescue Zhao Xin Tong but were discovered. Upon hearing that the leader in the stronghold intended to marry Zhao Xin Tong, Hu Zi became furious. The leader noticed that these people were escaping quickly, so he hurried back.
Seizing the opportunity, Zhao Xin Tong tried to provoke the people around her while secretly untying the ropes. The people in the stronghold were all delighted, feeling victorious that night and wanting to celebrate with the leader. However, as soon as the leader returned home, Zhao Xin Tong held a knife to his neck, threatening him.
Wang Yu Qian sneaked into the enemy camp but was caught red-handed. The people in the stronghold recognized Wang Yu Qian as the son of Qian Yu Wang and intended to use him as leverage against the Qian Yu Kingdom. Upon coming out, Zhao Xin Tong noticed that the leader of the stronghold was injured from saving her and felt reluctant to leave.
Zhao Xin Tong advised the leader to rely on their own strength and not depend on others. Qi Xiao Xuan received a signal from Hu Zi and rushed to the scene, learning about Zhao Xin Tong's capture. Zhao Xin Tong told the chief of the stronghold that she had already made up her mind and wanted to become sworn siblings with him.
Zhao Xin Tong succeeded in persuading the people of Ju Lun Kingdom to join them in saving the country. However, when Hu Zi and his group arrived, they found an unusual atmosphere of joy in the shadows, making Hu Zi suspicious that it might be a trick. After seeing this, Zhao Xin Tong informed Hu Zi that she had just become the elder sister of the group. The others were a bit surprised but still took their seats.

But all good things must come to an end, and so the group hastily departed. Zhao Xin Tong told Hu Zi that they didn't need to rush into marriage now, but Hu Zi still felt precarious. Mo Ling Zhi noticed that the barrier was loosening and felt worried. Hu Zi was saddened by the departure of Elder and decided to find a way to rescue their master.
Mo Ling Zhi suspected that there was something peculiar about using the King Kong Club to split the Underworld Sea. Fei Long Juo also arrived to help Zhao Xin Tong and the others in splitting the Underworld Sea. Everyone was delighted to hear that they could cross the Underworld Sea. Fei Long Juo told them that they needed the bones of a monster and the Crimson Bead to make things easier.
