Episode 10 recap: Miao Jiang framed Ou Xiao An for killing Ando.
Wei Qing Ming had Ando and Ou Xiao An confront each other, and Ando was satisfied with his own handiwork. He had previously injected Ou Xiao An with large amounts of drugs to make him tell the truth, knowing that Ou Xiao An's willpower was extraordinary. He then added other drugs, but the side effects would cause Ou Xiao An to lose his memory.
Ou Xiao An tried to recall his memories, and kept hearing people in his head telling him that Li Shao Tang was a Japanese spy and he needed to find the organization and stop Li Shao Tang. The lie detector test was ineffective on Li Shao Tang, who was proven innocent, but Feng Yu Nian began to suspect him and had his men monitor Li Shao Tang.
Wei Qing Ming learned from Liu that Li Shao Tang had accessed some files, with pages missing, which he had directly filed away upon receiving them from the headquarters. Wei Qing Ming told Liu to keep this a secret.
Mao Ren Xing took Ou Xiao An to see Ando, and Ando was concerned about his memory. Ou Xiao An remembered the torture Ando had inflicted on him and grabbed Ando in an agitated state.
Ando tried to make Ou Xiao An recall the test words, but Ou Xiao An only remembered two. Ando thought his superhuman brain was nothing special, and if Ou Xiao An had cooperated with his experiments, his memory might not be so confused now. Previously, Daqiao had instructed Ando to drug Ou Xiao An and force him to write out the Sakura Plan.

Ou Xiao An was trapped in painful memories, his mind flashing with Ando's experiments and torture, clutching his ears in agony.
Ando yelled that he had wasted time on other inmates, who had gone mad or died after his injections, but he refused to give up on the talented Ou Xiao An. Ou Xiao An endured the painful memories and continued communicating with Ando. He learned that Daqiao and the others had grown impatient and made him write out the Sakura Plan before the experiments were complete, to which Ou Xiao An had no response.
Daqiao decided to take him to 810, and Ando formally began his memory manipulation experiments, aiming to control the subjects and make them truly useful to the Japanese military. Ou Xiao An's memories became confused, and Ando still wanted to force him to cooperate with further experiments to change the world.
Wei Qing Ming asked Miao Jiang to express her opinion, and Miao Jiang believed that Ando and Ou Xiao An were acting, and Wei Qing Ming also thought so. Feng Yu Nian and Wen Yi Shan did not express any opinions.
Ou Xiao An was again lost in his memories, and he heard someone telling him that Li Shao Tang was a spy. After being interrogated, Li Shao Tang was found to have no issues, and the deputy captain proactively apologized, hoping that Li Shao Tang would not hold a grudge. Ando said that Ou Xiao An had used Renko's affection for him to escape from 810, and that Renko had been ill, with Ōhashi trying to save her with live experiments, but there was no effect until Ou Xiao An's appearance, which helped improve Renko's condition.
He frantically emphasized that Renko was killed by him, and upon hearing this, Ou Xiao An lost control of his emotions and strangled Ando's neck. Miao Jiang seized the opportunity to stab Ando to death with a pen. Wei Qing Ming became anxious, believing that Ou Xiao An killed to cover his tracks, and had him locked up. He remembered that Wen Yi Shan had agreed to the two confronting each other, and suspected that Wen Yi Shan was the mole, leading to a verbal dispute between them.
Miao Jiang was pleased with her accomplishment. In 1941, she was preparing to leave for Singapore, but discovered that Wu Zhi was actually the Japanese agent Tanaka. Tanaka demanded that she continue to infiltrate the Military Statistics Bureau and obtain intelligence for Ōhashi, threatening to tell Wei Qing Ming. Miao Jiang had no choice but to return to the Military Statistics Bureau, and she intentionally went to the archives to review files, secretly looking at the list of Shanghai secret agents, but did not sign it.
When Miao Jiang returned to her room, she found that Tanaka had been waiting for her the whole time, and he demanded that she provide the list of Shanghai agents and the contact station addresses. Ōhashi instructed Tanaka to convey that as long as Miao Jiang was of use to the Military Statistics Bureau, they would protect her identity and give her the code name "Sika Deer." Shortly after, a statement was widely circulated on the streets declaring that Ou Xiao An had defected from the Chiang government, and upon learning this, Wen Yi Shan became angry, believing that Ou Xiao An had betrayed them, and smashed a cup in a fit of rage.
