Episode 14 recap: The mastermind behind the scenes turned out to be Yi Qin Wang.
Shen Zi Shan discovered the culprit who had harmed Shen Dan Qing in the past and informed Xu Cheng Feng. They both realized that Yi Qin Wang was the mastermind behind the scenes, and in order to bring him to justice, they planned to capture the culprit. However, Shen Zi Shan accidentally got poisoned by a needle.
Shen Dan Qing regained control of the Luo family. In front of her father's memorial tablet, she vowed to make Luo Xue Er pay the price, confess her crimes, and clear Luo Ai Lian's name. She would revive the wine business of the Luo family and ensure a better future for Luo Shuang Shuang.
Shen Dan Qing ordered an investigation into the events that led to the downfall of the Xiao family twenty years ago and their connection with Luo Xue Er. Luo Shuang Shuang managed to escape from the Zhuangzi and tried to bribe a prison guard with her only piece of jewelry to visit her mother, Zhou Aunt. Shen Zi Shan also speculated that Xiao Wei bought the antidote on behalf of Zong Wei, confirming that Zong Wei was the one who harmed his sister.
Xu Cheng Feng believed that Zong Wei was the one who carried out the attack, but the mastermind behind the scenes must be Yi Qin Wang. He also deduced that Yi Qin Wang's visit to Liaocheng this time was to cover up the truth of the murder and theft that happened years ago. Xu Cheng Feng wanted to lure Zong Wei out, and they could use the dart launcher to make him appear and catch him red-handed.
Xu Cheng Feng planned to send a false message to Yi Qin Wang through Lv Zhu, informing him that there was a secret letter behind the plaque of the Shantang Hall. Upon receiving this message, Zong Wei became worried that the past incident of stealing the treasure would resurface and led his men to the Shantang Hall. Xu Cheng Feng and Tian Hao ambushed there and indeed spotted Zong Wei. They intended to capture him alive, but Zong Wei used hidden weapons to escape from Xu Cheng Feng. However, he was intercepted by Shen Zi Shan once again. Xu Cheng Feng and Shen Zi Shan teamed up and managed to capture Zong Wei's men, but Zong Wei injured Shen Zi Shan with a hidden weapon and ultimately escaped with the two men he brought along.
Miao Shen Yi diagnosed Shen Zi Shan and discovered that he was poisoned with the same poison that affected Shen Dan Qing years ago. Miao Shen Yi could only keep him alive for one more day at most. Shen Dan Qing initially wanted to exchange blood to save Shen Zi Shan, but Miao Shen Yi explained that Shen Dan Qing had no blood relation to Shen Zi Shan and couldn't save him that way.

Lv Zhu knew that the wound inflicted by Zong Wei was poisoned, and she urged Tian Hao not to blame himself. She revealed that Shen Zi Shan was poisoned and disclosed that Yi Qin Wang had a pharmacy on West Fourth Street, where he specialized in concocting poisons for Zong Wei. Xu Cheng Feng hastily took Shen Dan Qing to search for the antidote.
Tian Hao understood that Lv Zhu had never betrayed Yi Qin Wang and had only acted to protect her mother's safety. They never blamed Lv Zhu for her actions. Lv Zhu had lived a precarious life under Yi Qin Wang's control for five years, and now she was finally free. Xu Cheng Feng and Shen Dan Qing arrived at the pharmacy, but they fell into a trap set by Yi Qin Wang and Zong Wei. Shen Dan Qing accidentally triggered the trap, causing the loss of the antidote's clue.
On their way, Xu Cheng Feng accidentally got injured by an explosive while protecting Shen Dan Qing. Shen Dan Qing skillfully bandaged his wound. As time passed, Shen Dan Qing became increasingly worried that she couldn't save Shen Zi Shan.
Zong Wei's identity was exposed, and he left his sleeve crossbow in Xu Cheng Feng's hands. He offered to take responsibility for his crimes, but Yi Qin Wang saw another use for him and spared his life, awaiting further orders. Xu Cheng Feng brought Shen Dan Qing to confront Yi Qin Wang, asserting that Yi Qin Wang was the true mastermind behind the robbery and treasure map. The sleeve crossbow in Xu Cheng Feng's possession was the evidence. Xu Cheng Feng agreed to exchange the sleeve crossbow for the antidote, but Yi Qin Wang demanded that Xu Cheng Feng hand over all the clues regarding the treasure map case before he would provide the antidote.
Shen Dan Qing administered the antidote to Shen Zi Shan, and he successfully woke up after taking it. However, Miao Shen Yi soon discovered that although the antidote Xu Cheng Feng retrieved was genuine, Yi Qin Wang had only provided half of it. It could barely keep Shen Zi Shan alive, but he wouldn't be able to move normally.
If they didn't obtain the other half of the antidote within one day, Shen Zi Shan would be stuck in his current condition for the rest of his life.
