Episode 19 recap: The Death of Huan Fei

The Empress Dowager wanted to deal with Huan Fei, but unexpectedly Mu Xuan Jue blurted out that Huan Fei had ordered her execution. Huan Fei stood up and laughed, realizing that the worst person in the palace was actually Mu Xuan Jue. Huan Fei had been betrayed after all. She originally wanted to commit suicide, but was stopped by Bing Jian, who knocked the sword out of her hand, causing Huan Fei to faint.

This was exactly what the Empress Dowager wanted to see, and in the end she announced that Huan Fei had committed suicide in the dungeon. Ling Zhi did not understand why Mu Xuan Jue wanted to ruthlessly eliminate Huan Fei.
