Episode 4 recap: Song Shi Jie was forced into marriage.
Song Shi Jie and Song A Jiu arrived at Yichun Garden again. Song Shi Jie was mesmerized by San Niang, who intended to harm him. After fainting, Song Shi Jie found himself in a strange place where he encountered his own father.Song Shi Jie heard his father say that the matter was not yet resolved, and with his father's hint, he realized that logic was the key to solving the case. When Song Shi Jie woke up and muttered to himself, Ling Long suddenly approached and claimed that he had been intimate with her the previous night.
Song Shi Jie quickly fled the scene, trying to escape from this situation. Xiao Feng saw Song A Jiu being comfortable there and told him that Ling Long might soon become his sister-in-law. Just as she said that, Ling Long chased after Song Shi Jie to confirm their relationship.
This left Song A Jiu even more bewildered, not knowing what had happened. While Song Shi Jie was looking at medicinal herbs, Song A Jiu kept asking him what had happened the previous night. Song A Jiu told his brother that it was his trauma from last night and asked him not to mention it again.
Song Shi Jie felt like he had searched every corner of Yichun Garden except for this pile of herbs, which seemed unusual. Ling Long took Song Shi Jie to the wine cellar to investigate. Song Shi Jie noticed some poor-quality wine in the cellar and found it suspicious, but Ling Long didn't think much of it.
By chance, Song A Jiu discovered a gust of cool breeze coming from behind and fell asleep. This led Song Shi Jie to discover a hidden door in the front and back. Everyone entered the hidden door and found numerous corpses, resembling a morgue. Suddenly, a man grabbed Song Shi Jie, desperately seeking help.
San Niang had finally waited for Song Shi Jie and the others to find this place. In fact, Song Shi Jie had already known something was amiss when Niu Da Chun was sentenced to death. After all, the words of a dying man are often truthful. Song Shi Jie had realized during the incident with Ling Long when she examined the accumulated blood that San Niang might have turned the blood into medicine and gradually weakened the man who consumed it.

She had been persecuted by others and encountered someone who helped her, but little did she know that this person would become the beginning of her nightmare. She lived a hellish life every day, so she seized the opportunity to kill him when he wasn't paying attention, feeling an immense sense of liberation from that moment.
San Niang believed that by killing one more bad man, there would be one less girl suffering at the hands of such men. Before her death, San Niang entrusted Song Shi Jie to promise to be a hero and take good care of Ling Long. Otherwise, even as a ghost, she wouldn't let Song Shi Jie go. Song Shi Jie was also moved by San Niang's self-sacrificing spirit for justice.

In this way, Song Shi Jie was reluctantly dragged to the wedding hall to perform the marriage ceremony. He swore not to bow down, but Ling Long forcibly made him kneel and marry her. Song Shi Jie felt that he was clearly being deceived into marriage.
