Episode 20 recap: Cheng Bing and Wang Miao Miao had a heart-to-heart talk.
Liu Zi thought it would be better for him to lure out Wang Da Yong himself. Lao Ma advised Liu Zi to think it through, as Wang Da Yong was a dangerous character. Liu Zi believed it was better than having Tong Tong targeted. Pan Da Hai approached them and asked who instructed them to keep an eye on Liu Wen Fang. Xiao Xu and the others claimed it was for protection.
Pan Da Hai accused them of alerting the enemy prematurely, as he had already sent Lin Ying there. Liu Zi called Xiao Xu over and expressed his doubts. He believed that the person who had tried to kill him was really after him, and if someone hadn't arrived in time, he would have been dead. Liu Zi couldn't fathom having such a huge grudge with anyone other than Wang Da Yong.
Lin Ying and the others went to the nursing home and questioned Wang Da Yong's mother's roommate. The roommate mentioned that she had been startled by someone near the bed and shouted, causing the person to run away. She wanted to turn on the lights but found that there was no electricity. She heard Wang Da Yong's mother calling for someone named Da Yong.
Liu Zi and the others informed Pan Da Hai about this incident and were convinced that Wang Da Yong was responsible. Lao Ma and the others discussed the matter and concluded that they had no investigative authority and needed to call Lin Ying. They agreed that now they all had families and couldn't act as they did before.
Wang Miao Miao had to go to the restroom due to an upset stomach, and her phone rang. Cheng Bing answered the call, but there was no response from the other end. Cai Bin and Xiao Xu had been following Liu Wen Fang and Tong Tong and felt that their lives were too routine. They knew Wang Da Yong wasn't foolish and would likely figure things out.

Cheng Bing knew that Wang Miao Miao had an upset stomach from eating company food, so he cooked for her. Soon it was Mid-Autumn Festival, and Cheng Bing and Wang Miao Miao bought gifts for each other, both very happy.
