Episode 10 recap: Pan Da Hai urged Cheng Bing to give up the investigation.
Lin Ying brought Cheng Bing back and said that everyone was ready and wanted to get together. Cheng Bing didn't want to go because they hadn't caught Wang Da Yong. Lao Ma and the others discussed and thought they should find a proper job for Cheng Bing so that he wouldn't have idle thoughts.
Xiao Xu asked Lao Ma to look for opportunities within their jurisdiction. Lao Ma said he didn't have that ability, but he did have a relative who was hiring. They were looking for someone to oversee a dam. Although it wasn't an official position, the benefits were the same as an official one. Cheng Bing met someone at a bar who claimed to be able to introduce him to members of the Brotherhood Alliance. Cheng Bing and Shi Tou went with him, but unexpectedly, they were attacked and knocked unconscious as soon as they entered.
Shi Tou still has the fiery enthusiasm of a young person. His actions showed me his daring and bold side. Whether it was a spur-of-the-moment decision or not, I admire him in this moment, especially when he said, "Our Third Brigade is truly gone from today onwards." I believe this statement carries a greater impact and can resonate with others.

Opening a little speculation, Wang Da Yong isn't actually part of the Brotherhood gang; on the contrary, he might be their archenemy. Perhaps he sought refuge with the Brotherhood gang in the past, which is why he has that tattoo.
However, due to various reasons, he later left the gang and became enemies with the current leader. When Cheng BingShi Tou was searching for Wang Da Yong, the leader found out and planned to use both of them as bait to eliminate Wang Da Yong.

Just finished watching the movie "The Third Brigade," and the performances by the main cast were outstanding. It's really enjoyable and worth watching! Especially Zhang Yi's portrayal of Brother Bing, it was superb.
That role was made for him. I wonder how Qin Hao did in his performance? I also want to see it. I always feel like Qin Hao has a bit of a rogue charm, but he lacks the determination and perseverance that Zhang Yi brings to the character!
Out of all the movies and TV dramas about police and gangster stories that I've watched over the years, this one is the most humanizing. It doesn't preach or deliberately exaggerate; everything starts from the most genuine human nature.
It resonates deeply within us, and that's the essence that a film or TV series should have. It unfolds the story in a straightforward manner, subtly weaving justice into it, allowing us to feel the righteousness, integrity, and selflessness of life.
