Episode 24 recap: Yin Ji rescued Xie Yun.
Yin Ji was very worried after Xie Yun was taken away, and at the time the guards were still patrolling everywhere. Yin Ji could only sneak past the guards and walk forward, but accidentally encountered a drunken man who kept pulling him. Yin Ji wanted to leave but that ended up attracting the guards, and Yin Ji had no choice but to run away. Suddenly, he was rescued by his former subordinate, and it turned out they were both still alive and well. This lifted a great weight off Yin Ji's mind.
In order to lure out Yin Ji, Qin Qi told the Madam that he planned to announce that Xie Yun would become the city lord's wife, knowing that Yin Ji would surely appear then. Qin Qi said he just wanted to get everything back on track, and the Madam agreed. Qin Qi also learned that Yin Ji had recently gotten into a big argument with a drunken man on the street, and had to quickly escape when he saw the soldiers chasing him.
Qin Qi didn't mind, since Xie Yun was still in his hands and he would maintain control. Qin Qi summoned Xie Yun and had the bridal outfit prepared for her. Three years ago, Xie Yun had married him in a grand ceremony, but now Qin Qi wanted to remarry her and make her truly his.
Qin Qi wanted to distort the truth and smear the Xie family's reputation. When Xie Yun refused to do anything against her conscience, Qin Qi threatened Yin Ji's life and even burned the Xie family's archives. Xie Yun was furious but could not escape Qin Qi's captivity. Yin Ji was very emotional knowing Xie Yun was still in Qin Qi's hands, and his subordinates urged him to plan carefully, but Yin Ji felt that since Qin Qi's purpose was to make him appear, then he would do so.
Xie Yun's brother, Dou Feiyang, had come to find Yin Ji on his own. Now they were all waiting to launch the attack together. Yin Ji had made all the arrangements and was ready to set out immediately to rescue Xie Yun.
Seeing the bridal outfit in front of her, Xie Yun naturally had no intention of submitting to Qin Qi, and directly pushed the outfit to the ground.

Just as Qin Qi was about to attack, Xie Yun and Yin Ji worked together, using their hair pins to stab Qin Qi in the neck, causing him to collapse on the spot.
At this moment, heavy snow began to fall from the sky. Xie Yun just wanted to embrace Yin Ji, and Yin Ji had finally regained everything that belonged to him. The two happily continued living out the rest of their days together, hoping that no one would ever disturb them again.
