Episode 13 recap: Zhuang Jie's visit to catch an affair turned into a misunderstanding.
Initially, Liao Tao was confident that her daughter wouldn't engage in things like kissing passionately at the train station. As expected, Chen Mai Dong's phone went unanswered, so Zhuang Jie immediately went to Chen's house and saw Grandma Chen about to leave to discard the gift Song Yi had brought. Grandma Chen's attitude toward Song Yi had not changed, and she still held a grudge against her for putting a cuckold's hat on Chen Mai Dong.
Since Chen Mai Dong hadn't returned home overnight, Zhuang Jie personally went to the seaside resort where Song Yi was vacationing and sent a message reminding Chen Mai Dong of his promise to be honest.
