Episode 9 recap: Zhu Zhe helped He Min Hong get out of trouble.
Guo Sheng Yang and Li Qi Xing confronted each other and started arguing at the slightest provocation, eventually leading to a physical fight. Ye Zhen Zhen and Dai Wei hurriedly stepped in to stop them, managing to convince the two of them to cease their fight. After Guo Sheng Yang left, Dai Wei invited Li Qi Xing to have breakfast, and Li Qi Xing gladly accepted after giving it some thought.
The three of them went together to a nearby restaurant, where Li Qi Xing unexpectedly learned about Fang Zhi Heng's recent troubles. Ye Zhen Zhen believed that the root of all this was Li Qi Xing's father, Li Xun, who had harassed Fang Zhi Heng first and unjustly fired her without any valid reason, which led to her parents' disappointment in her. Taking advantage of the policy allowing a second child, they had planned to have another child, but the result was that the advanced maternal age made her a high-risk pregnancy, leading to the current situation.
Because of Ye Zhen Zhen's words, Li Qi Xing felt a mix of emotions and some regret and guilt. At this moment, He Min Hong saw Qi Mu's car while walking on the street and quickly rushed into the restaurant, coincidentally encountering Ye Zhen Zhen, Dai Wei, and Li Qi Xing.

Li Qi Xing continued the previous topic, believing that a woman like Fang Zhi Heng would definitely not settle down and even suspected the origin of the child. Upon learning about Qi Mu's intentions, Zhu Zhe didn't hesitate and directly discussed conditions with Qi Mu, demanding that he stop causing trouble for He Min Hong in the future. In order to solve his mother's elderly care problem, Qi Mu readily agreed but was surprised to find out that Zhu Zhe had already arranged everything for him and he didn't need to worry about any aspect of it.
Because of this, Qi Mu reminded Zhu Zhe that it wasn't necessary to do all this for He Min Hong and even expend the accumulated goodwill over the years. In Qi Mu's view, He Min Hong was a heartless person, and he believed that giving her a marriage was already his greatest favor.
Ye Zhen Zhen, knowing that Zhu Zhe and Qi Mu were going to the nursing home, advised her to be cautious. If He Min Hong found out about their interaction, she might start having extreme and unfounded thoughts. While they were talking, Fang Zhi Heng came out and revealed that He Min Hong had filed a complaint against her on WeChat. Ye Zhen Zhen truthfully recounted the events of the morning and her opinion of Guo Sheng Yang.
Although Fang Zhi Heng didn't show much emotion, there was still a ripple in her heart because of Guo Sheng Yang's appearance. Yu Chu Hui and the other two ran into an old acquaintance, Mr. Jin, at the coffee shop, and some misunderstandings arose again, but fortunately, everything was explained later. Chen Chao Sheng chimed in with Yu Chu Hui, easing her mind. They and Mr. Jin resolved their differences and let bygones be bygones.
