Episode 3 recap: Chun Ke Ling meets Si Huang Zi.

Lu Bu Ping and Chun Pei Lan. In order to prevent Chun Ban Xia from causing trouble, they can only find a way to make Shi Shu (referring to Lu Bu Ping) stay. However, he insists on leaving for Du Ruo Lan (referring to Chun Pei Lan) and both of them are worried. Chun Pei Lan decides to seek help from her elder sister, Chun Jin Rong. At first, Chun Jin Rong is not willing to agree because it was Du Ruo Lan's decision. Chun Pei Lan suggests that Shi Shu pays rent, which would give Chun Jin Rong some extra pocket money. Hearing that she can earn more money, Chun Jin Rong agrees and persuades Du Ruo Lan to let Shi Shu stay.

Chun Jin Rong and Chun Pei Lan find Du Ruo Lan. Initially, Du Ruo Lan disagrees, but Chun Jin Rong proposes to rent her own house to Shi Shu at a high price, which would be a profitable scheme.

However, Du Ruo Lan hesitates, and with the continuous persuasion from Chun Jin Rong and Chun Pei An, she finally agrees to let Shi Shu stay and rent the house at a high price.

The Du family decides to let Shi Shu stay. However, when Chun Ban Xia hears that the rent is for 20 carriages, she disagrees, considering it too high. Moreover, Chun Jin Rong suggests that Shi Shu open a pharmacy in the rented house and give her a commission, which makes Chun Ban Xia even more upset, feeling that it's going too far and even wants to stand up for Shi Shu.

Shi Zi from the Ling Wang Mansion, who is ignorant and idle, goes out to seek pleasure and encounters Chun Ke Ling, who happens to be taking a stroll on the street. Shi Zi sees Shi Zi harassing women on the street and intervenes to teach him a lesson.

Shi Zi becomes very angry and calls his servants to chase after Chun Ke Ling. In a panic, Chun Ke Ling runs into the Wang Mansion and even takes someone hostage. Meanwhile, Shi Zi is infuriated because he couldn't find the person who attacked him. At that moment, the steward of the Wang Mansion comes to inform Shi Zi that he is searching for him.

In order to get closer to the palace and its relationships, the prince wanted to improve the relationship between his son and Si Huang Zi by taking advantage of the Empress Dowager's visit to pray for blessings.

After seeing that there was no threat outside, Chun Ke Ling prepared to leave. However, what Chun Ke Ling didn't know was that Si Huang Zi was actually interested in her culinary skills, and their simple meeting left a lasting impression on Si Huang Zi.

While Si Huang Zi was consulting the gods in the temple, Shi Zi approached him to establish a relationship and talked about the benefits of the outside world, hoping to take Si Huang Zi out to relax. As Si Huang Zi's mind was focused on Chun Ke Ling, he described her appearance and asked Shi Zi to help him find her.

After meeting with the Empress Dowager, in order to prevent his child from feeling lonely, Shi Zi encouraged Si Huang Zi to communicate more with Shi Zi, as they were of the same age and had common topics of interest. Taking this opportunity, Shi Zi suggested taking Si Huang Zi out of the temple. The prince, worried about his son, looked at him with concern. Si Huang Zi also wanted to go out and explore, but the Empress Dowager did not agree.

Shi Shu's medicine shop officially opened, and in order to attract customers, Shi Shu decided to hold a grand promotion event and asked Chun Ban Xia to come and help. However, Chun Ban Xia was disgusted with Shi Shu's sales tactics, believing that running a medical clinic was about helping people and shouldn't involve such activities. But Shi Shu insisted on promoting it, feeling that his dream had already been lost. Frustrated from constant setbacks, Chun Ban Xia vented her anger on Li Teng Yun when she came across him by chance. Shi Zi returned home and coincidentally received an imperial edict from the palace. Si Huang Zi was to reside in the Ling Wang Mansion during his time outside the palace.
