Episode 4 recap: Xu Guoxian and Chen Leyi have met.
What they don't know is that Xu Guoxian has been secretly contacting Officer Dai. Officer Dai told Xu Guoxian that the police will be arriving soon, and he cannot be discovered, so he must return to Wuliang's side. Officer Dai contacted the Special Duties Unit and had them intercept a car at the fruit stall. When the Special Duties Unit arrived, Xu Guoxian and the others were just about to drive away.
Xu Guoxian told Sige that it would be best to change cars now, and helped Sige move his things into the back of a white van, but intentionally didn't close the trunk all the way. Xu Guoxian went to distract the police, so Sige could leave first. Xu Guoxian reported this situation to Officer Dai, and Dai had Peng Yingqi chase after the white van. Xu Guoxian was questioned, and Sige saw this and felt grateful to Xu Guoxian.
Peng Yingqi chased after Sige, and on the way the trunk of the white van opened and the items fell out. Sige quickly got out of the car to pick them up. Peng Yingqi and her team arrived and caught him red-handed. Wuliang went to the mall, and Chen Gaogao came to assassinate Wuliang, but Wuliang evaded him skillfully. Unexpectedly, Chen Zuoyao also showed up and tried to shoot Wuliang, but missed.
Guan Zhixuan heard the commotion and rushed over. He got into a fight with Chen Zuoyao, but Chen Zuoyao saw he was losing and left first. Wuliang learned that a large shipment of goods was lost, and was very angry, feeling there must be a mole. He told Xu Guoxian to find out who it was. Xu Guoxian could only agree.
Guan Zhixuan realized the masked man looked a lot like Chen Zuoyao, and came to the anti-crime unit to check the surveillance footage. Xu Guoxian happened to be passing by, so he gave the money to the boss. Xu Guoxian asked Chen Leyi why he didn't go home and was stealing the goldfish, and Chen Leyi thought the boss was asleep. Xu Guoxian sent Chen Leyi home, and happened to see someone blocking Chen Leyi's mother at Westminster Abbey asking for drug money. These two people recognized Xu Guoxian, and Xu Guoxian told them to go back first, and he would handle it himself.
Westminster Abbey was very happy to see Xu Guoxian and wanted to borrow money from him for dinner, but Xu Guoxian gave the money to Chen Leyi, telling her to just eat and not give it to her mother. Peng Yingqi's subordinate took a USB drive to Guan Zhixuan, saying that it was Peng Yingqi who guaranteed that Guan Zhixuan could get this USB drive to see.

Chen Leyi was bullied by her classmates at school, who said she stole their money after seeing 200 yuan in her wallet. Xu Guoxian happened to be there when Chen Leyi ran after them. Chen Gao hid in the movie theater of a shopping mall and took a hostage there. The police surrounded the area, rescued the hostage, and took Chen Gao away.
