Plot Synopsis

"Just in Time" is based on Jiang Lizi's novel "My Mom Has Good News."

Xu Meng An, a middle-aged woman who thought she had everything under control, suddenly finds her life spiraling out of control. Her company initiates large-scale layoffs, her career advancement is blocked, her husband Li Lin loses his job, her daughter may be having an early romance, and an unexpected second child is on the way - all theseproblems come rushing at her, leaving herphysically and emotionally exhausted. How can she find the motivation to restart her life, and balance herpersonal growth with her family responsibilities? This is thepressing issue she must resolve.

Meanwhile, Xu Meng An's best friend Chen Wan Zhen, a full-time housewife, is suffering in a marriage where she feels neglected by her husband Yu Hai. She decides to retuto the workforce. Xu Meng Xin, Xu Meng An's sister, is struggling with hormonal imbalances during herpregnancy. Through their struggles andpain, these women ultimately find a way to succeed, using their softer strengths to overcome, and achieve a newphase of growth in their lives.
